It's not just the car though. What if they surround me and I have to plow my way out? Even if there were no charges, there'd be civil cases, etc. And they've already demonstrated that they'll bring guns to these peaceful protests and their pundits have been advocating for further assassinations. And there are alot of Muslims in the Denver Metro Area and of course we had some Islamist (the religion of peace) throw bombs into a crowd recently. Rob's looney toon allies on the left have proven to be very dangerous people. I wonder which event the peasant Rob will be attending? Will he cosplay the part like they do at Renaissance Festivals?

If they are in the road impeding traffic they are violating law. If they surround you then they may have intentions of harming you or those with you. They are allowed to protest peacefully. They are not allowed to violate the law or impede anyone's movement. Plow on!

The issue is then if the police press charges, even if I beat them I'm out the cost of defending myself and I don't really want to run people over, plus the damage to my vehicle is another expense I don't need. And inevitably these a-holes would drag my *** to civil court. The more I think about it, I might go get some rainbow flags since I have feeling I'll be driving by several of these protests during my travels tomorrow.

Honestly though, just act like you are with the protestors. If they get close, tell them you are dropping off your car and coming back to stand with them.
