So,
I have changed my mind about NVX speakers. They sound good, but the x-overs are garbage. on the 6x9s and the 6.5s (XSP69KIT and XSP65KIT), both x-overs broke. Three of them melted and the 4th one had a broken coil.

I replaced them the 6x9 with JL Audio CLS and the 6.5's with JBL GTO609C speakers. They cost about the same as the NVX speakers, but sound a lot better. I also have set of PPI AS.65C2 components in my daughter's car, and they sound really good for their price ($80). The NVX VCW12v3 subs is still banging hard, as well as the NVX VCW10v3 subs.

I was literally a week away from getting my 300a alternator in and swapping in my scanspeak 11m when it developed an engine knock and stalling while driving
5 mechanics later with no results from getting me to do a timing chain, to nah I don't wanna do it, to "just drive it like that"
Brought it to the machine shop couple days ago waiting for the verdict weather its fixable or in need of an engine swap
People looking at me like oh no it might need an engine could be scrap

and I'm thinking, scrap? This thing holds my stereo! Damn right it's going to get an engine if it needs it, plus it's in fantastic condition

I hate to break it to you, but it's a Jeep. They are known to have better aftermarket radios than engines. LOL...
