WTF you talking about? You lying sack of $hit..

You need need help dude...
So you buy into the snake oil. Not shocking.
Do you use cable risers and have hologram stickers insider your network router?
Magnets on the gas line of your car to "align the gas molecules", too?

Being "OXYGEN FREE" keeps it from corroding and helps it last significantly longer... but I'm sure Rob already knew that being an expert installer.
Ofc also can carry more current for the same size wire iirc. Ofc is just better wire, lower resistance, less voltage or signal drop over distance. That ofc cca rant by you know who was demented 😂

I mean seriously what is that? This is bizarre. It makes no sense and seems like a breakdown

Uh.. read where I quoted you jackass..

Where did I tell a member to continue running whatever your dumbass is talking about?
Please tell me what thread this was..

Wow... doubling down on never admitting he is wrong!

There seems to be some major confusion over my single sentence that encompassed more than one thought.
Not sure if it confused you too (hope not), but I'll clarify in case it did.

1. That 1/0 - Is it all copper or CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum)?
The reason I ask is that all-copper can carry more current without failure than CCA of the same wire gauge (i.e. CCA needs to be thicker to carry the same max current).
Many places are selling CCA to people who may not know better.
That can end badly.

2. OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) is hype in the audio world.
There is a price penalty for going from regular copper to OFC. A price penalty that does nothing more than take money out of your pocket. Don't fall for it. Spend your money on things that matter for making your system work, first. Spend on hype later.

Who even sells "regular" copper? I've only seen ofc or cca my whole life for car audio branded wire, I mean I've been out of building for a while I just have never heard of someone referring to "regular" copper as a type of wire

The only way to get "regular copper" would be non car audio branded wire like welding cable.
Every car branded wire I've seen will be labeled OFC.

Rob seems like the last person who should be giving out advice, Dude is crazy.

OFC is 99.99% pure.
Regular is 99.9% pure.

When you can prove you hear a difference form that .09% change in copper purity of your farging POWER cable, you let us know.
You'll blow the minds of the audio community, and the science community.

In the meantime, share some of the tech specs of OFC and ETP. Show us the variances that will improve the sound in our car systems.

GOALPOST MOVED!!!

Good job Rob. You claim OFC is hype. It is not. Its job is to not corrode. Thanks for playing. All of your spins and backpedaling are pointless. As usual.

Nobody is selling cables for car audio that are NOT OFC?
You sure about that?

Joe Citizen buys at places like Best Buy or mom & pop brick and mortar stores.
You might want to check what those places are offering, before making such a blanket statement.
