it’s nuts we’re messing with our nato allies. Again , we have power to build or do whatever we feel nesesscsry for nature security in Greenland.
We are NATO, the US is, basically. Our NATO allies are trying to screw us; europe itself is behind the rest of the world in some ways and is blaming the US for it. Europe can't fight for anything...I don't like it but it's the way the world works. Hemispheric security fighting Russia in the arctic and what not, that's what Greenland is for. EU doesn't have the firepower.

We want Greenland because it's strategic defense position against Russia in the Arctic, in which it seems like Europe is going to be not able to do much with.

It's also why Trump is trying to secure the southern part of our hemisphere is because China and Russia are making moves into our hemisphere. If we let them take both Central/South America and the Arctic, then we're gonna be completely surrounded by Russians and Chinese supporters in our own hemisphere.

I'd actually like to know the reasoning behind her pardon. Since you seem to feel that Adriana here shouldn't have been pardoned, then we're all in agreement that the Somalia fraudsters should get a similar sentence - 2 years?
She was pardoned because Trump claimed her conviction for committing the crime was "political persecution".

"Trump commuted her sentence in the final days of his first term after she enlisted two lawyers with connections in his orbit. One of them, Stefan Passantino, had been a deputy White House counsel in the first Trump administration. Another, Adam Katz, represented Rudy Giuliani in a defamation case related to his effort to overturn Trump’s loss in the 2020 election."

I assume you have to ask if we are all in agreement that criminals should get punished, given the oft-repeated sentiment of many here that criminals such as Trump, the insurrectionists, Trump's white-collar friends, etc, should NOT be punished for their crimes.

ANY criminal should get the punishment that is legally prescribed for the crime they commit and are convicted of committing.

So we must all be in agreement that Trump's felonies should have resulted in a four-year jail stint for him, and hundreds of millions in fines.
Good.
