Posting a rant, because I'm pissed
Been wanting an Eton Micro amp for an upcoming build. Audison shows them as out of stock (discontinued?) and $300. I found them available direct from China for $40 each. I ordered 2.
The vendor provided me with a tracking link called Track718. It followed the shipment step by step from Hong Kong, to the US, through customs, and eventually handed off to the USPS. Supposedly delivered on 1/27. I know the package wouldn't fit in my roadside mailbox, and my property was snowed in on the 27th so the mail guy couldn't drop it at my door as usual. It's been 3 days an I still don't have it.
So here's the reason for my rant - It's IMPOSSIBLE to talk on the phone to the local post office. All you get is an incredibly inept automated menu and if you don't have a USPS tracking number you're screwed.
All I have is a screenshot of the Chinese tracking record. The numbers are not USPS trackable. I guess I have no choice but to show up at the PO and ask for help.
