No it wasn't Thx. He didn't imply it that Fake News organizations were acting unethically, he clearly states it. When you engaged in the subject defending them and claiming that their actions are acceptable due to their profit motive, that to implies that you found their actions unethical.

If you recall, I asked him to provide examples of the behavior he accuses "them" of, and he failed to do so.
Asking him to provide evidence is not me admitting the evidence exists.

Since you don't find their actions unethical, why are we even discussing profit as some sort of justification for what they do? Just say you don't take issue with their behaviors. Yet you seem to take exception with Fox lying about Dominion. Can you clarify exactly what your position is?

I take exception to unethical or illegal behavior, but I don't feel that private business exists to cater to ME.
As a grownup, I understand that business exists to cater to the largest customer base possible in order to make a profit.
If the way they do so is unappealing to me, then they do not get my business. But, I do not expect them to change their ways to meet MY demands.

Fox - I would not watch Fox regardless (not a TV watcher), but it's funny that they hold the highest ratings (per Thx's post), and also hold the loss of one of the biggest defamation lawsuits in history for fraudulent reporting.
And their viewer base is decidedly right wing.
Kind of like Alex Jones, who lost an even bigger defamation suit for his false reporting, and who has a similarly right-wing viewership.

BTW - Being here illegally is not a violation of federal criminal law.
It's a very specific detail, but details matter.

Neither Thx nor I said Fake News should cater to our demands. We pointed out unethical behavior and agreed that that businesses should consider things other than maximizing profit. CNN has been stoking hate and violence since the BLM riots and currently trying to create confrontations between protesters and ICE agents.

TBH, I find it telling that rather than agreeing that such behavior is despicable, you chose to try to turn it into an another opportunity to be right.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Encouraging confrontations between protesters and ICE agents who are rounding up illegals is going to lead to somebody getting shot, it's going to lead to protesters violating laws and getting themselves charged with crimes, etc, etc, etc. But you just can't acknowledge that it's a bad idea because it's Team Blue.

This presents only two possibilities: Either his dementia is so bad he actually believes a person can lose their citizenship simply because he dislikes that person, or he knows it can't be done but chooses to publicly state that he is going to consider doing it.
