Nice conspiracy theory.

So every time Trump loses a case, it's because the deep state is out to get him, and they have implanted themselves so deep in everyday life, that no one can figure it out or stop them.

Talk about living in paranoia or the deepest levels of denial one can imagine.
The whole WORLD is out to get Trump, and they've been building cases and plotting against him for decades, just so they could be ready for him now.
Wow.
No, but when he's found guilty of defrauding a lender that he paid back and says they weren't defrauded, you guys aren't doing yourselves any favors. But hey, you can always say "felon, felon, felon."

I get where they are coming from. They want to bleed Russia as much as possible. I hope Zelensky can see through this and this war can come to an end.

He paid them back for a fraud that didn't happen?
Is that like paying off a hooker to not speak about the time you didn't pay her to bang her?

The lender doesn't get to decide whether or not the law was broken. Falsifying business records in the first degree is a felony in NY.

Would you say that all NY cases with convictions of falsifying business records should be overturned in order maintain consistency with the idea that Trump is special, and should not have been convicted? Or are we just saying that Trump is special, but everyone else who broke the same law is not as special?

For example, this case. Dismiss all charges since going after someone for the felony of falsifying business records is OK for Trump, therefor must be OK for all others?

It's decades of Carroll's writings, musing and interviews that makes her less than credible, just like Trump's "grab them by the kitty" hurts his credibility in this case. It's waiting 20 years and being foggy about specifics like day time and year it happened, which could have provided Trump with an alibi (how convenient). Additionally, it's decades of women coming out of the wood work decades later. It's happened to 7 of the last 10 Presidents, seems like every male USSC nominee faces an accusation from the past. Numerous candidates have faced similar accusations.
OK. So a gut feeling. Fair enough.

Yes, he paid them back, that's how loans work. It's unusual for somebody to commit fraud when there is no victim of said fraud, but as I said - "Felon, felon, felon!!!"

The media has the Democrats so focused on Trump that they can't see any other larger picture. It's literally like being stuck inside of a box. Everything in life has to be viewed through whether or not it helps trump or Musk or whoever. If you can't take your mind out of that frame, then you're doomed. There's no way you're seeing any larger more intelligent picture by basing your life to be anti-Trump. A lot of Democrats don't really seem to believe in anything other than the opposite of what Trump believes in. It's not healthy for the mind.

Totally agree. The left has turned into the anti-Trump party and lacks any political philosophy beyond Trump is a certain Austrian painter. All Trump has to do is stick to the side of issues that have popular support and the left by definition ends up on the "wrong" side of the issue.

Says the guy who literally denied that the events of January 6th ever happened, or that Trump could have had any culpability for it.
Which events? Several things happened on Jan 6th.
If you are speaking of culpability for people entering the Capitol Building then no. Trump does not control the action another human chooses to take. This isn't the movie SAW.
Says the guy who blames every heinous act a Republican does on the "Democrats in disguise" who are just out to make Republicans look bad.
The summer of love? The Rapes, Murders, Beatings, Arson, Thefts, Vandalism, Drug use... pretty sure that WAS the left.
Says the guy who thinks historical data has been falsified for almost a century, just to make Trump look bad today.
No, that was you telling me what I think.
Says the guy who will literally swear to the claim that a U.S. import tariff gets paid by a foreign exporter, because Trump told him so.
I did not.
You've had so much of the KoolAid, you're drowning in it.
Tell me more.

It's not unusual at all. That's how the law works. Victimless crimes get prosecuted regularly.
THIRTY FOUR COUNTS of falsifying business records in the first degree is indeed a crime, as it is indeed against the law to do so. And plenty of people get prosecuted for it.

Do you think the law should have been waived for Trump, because "MAGA!" ?
Do you think the law should be waived for everyone who got busted for breaking it, or just for Trump?
What in your opinion places Trump above a law that others are not above?

Being deliberately obtuse really makes a person look like a blithering idiot.

So you post it here, but don't actually believe it?
I did not.
Must have been the frog in your pocket.

And then there's this beaut, where you not only demonstrate you believe and repeat what Trump tells you to believe and repeat, but you state Canada is trying to dry-phuck us. When Canadians spend 7x more per citizen on US products, than US citizens spend on Canadian products. SEVEN TIMES MORE.
Yeah, those horrible Canadians should outspend us by TEN TIMES!

Tell me more.

But in this case, there is a victim, but the victim of the fraud claims they weren't defrauded. Furthermore, Deutsche Bank didn't even use Trump's valuations for his wealth. They used a lower figure that they come up with. But seriously, I want the left to continue along this path. You guys need to start working on what things you can charge Vance with. I bet there are inaccuracies in Hillbilly Effigy. I'm sure there is an inaccuracy on some financial form of Vance's somewhere.

I am glad I can encourage you to better educate yourself. You're welcome.

Sorry to have to repeat this, but they don't get to decide if he broke the law or not, any more than you get to decide that someone wasn't doing 40 on your 25 residential street.

The law doesn't allow for us to decide if it has been broken, unless we are on a jury, or are a judge, or law enforcement. I'm not sure why you think it does. In the US, anyway.

Here's some light reading on the statute: https://criminaldefense.1800nynylaw...sifying-business-records-in-first-degree.html

And I'm still trying to get it out if you why you think Trump should be exempt from prosecution for breaking the law, but not other people.
Or do you think EVERYONE should be exempt?
