To be called Champagne, it must be produced in the (wait for it) CHAMPAGNE region of France.
Unless they transported that region of France to California, there is no Champagne coming out of California, or any other state in the US.

As long at the dates are correct California Champagne can be called Champagne. Also....

Gas has been cheaper since Trump took office. I think Saudi will be more cooperative with production with Trump in office. Assuming Trump can quickly hammer out a peace deal, we can get Russian oil back in the market.
