And if he didn't use coupons, he'd be paying $2.52-$2.57 per gallon of gas.

If we're going to talk/compare/complain prices, let's not quote the absolute cheapest possible price for gas, but the absolute highest for a burger meal.

That's like ThxOne pretending he paid $1.87 for gas "under Trump", when that was the lowest price in the country for one day, or him comparing the cost of angus beef in 2024 to 80/20 ground chuck in 2020.
I'd agree except it's pretty common to upsize your combo meal or order the McChicken instead of the Quarter Pounder. Furthermore, you suggested he went to a different area than were he purchased gas to expose himself to higher pricing. Or more accurately you were trying to make it look like THX was being "inaccurate" about price of McD's in his area. Reality is he probably ordered something other than what you posted.

He was. He was comparing a non-pump-price to a non-standard meal price.

He did the same when complaining about the price of Angus last year to 80/20 ground chuck in 2019.
Or acting as if gas was $1.87 throughout Trumps first presidency, and that gas prices didn't jump as soon as he took office and engineered a price increase for oil.

See what I mean? He can't remember shit until he thinks he has a gotcha.

I compared 85/15 ground beef to 85/15 ground beef. Rob was the one who compared a different quality of meat to the price I stated. Because he just assumed and didn't clarify he will tell everyone I am wrong.

I never "acted" or stated I paid near that price the whole Presidency. I paid less at times, I paid more at times. FACT. When Biden was given the White House gas prices at the pumps I bought gas at jumped up to and over $5.00 a gallon. Which is a whole shit ton more than what I was paying everyday as a pizza delivery driver. You can't tell Rob that though. He knows better than a person buying gas literally on a daily basis. He will tell you to this day that I had no idea how much I paid for gas and he will insist I paid the national average for gas.

"As mayor, I do not control who enters or remains in our country, but I do have to manage the population that is within our city," said Adams, who said as New York City mayor he is working with the Trump administration on immigration aid. "In order to carry out this function without having long term negative ramification, I must create an atmosphere that allows every law abiding resident, documented or not to access vital services without fear of being turned over to federal authorities."

This issue is sanctuary cities not handing these guys over when they cross paths with the law. Now these cities (including Denver) will forgo federal funds rather than hand over illegal immigrants to ICE and it's the citizens who will pay the price.

Not a big fan of seeing these tariffs go through. I agree with the basis of the tariffs (eliminating drug cartel operations or face tariffs), but it seems like Trump expects them to start rounding up people the next day. Hypothetically, a case has to be built, evidence gathered, search warrants issued, etc.

I guarantee mexico doesn't need time build cases 😂

Your poor memory trips you up again.
We had been discussing 80/20 all along. My response to your last-second decision to bring up Angus went something like this:
"You complained about the price of ground beef being more than $7.00 a pound. I refuted that number, very specifically referencing 80/20 ground beef, the most commonly purchased version. You complained that I was using 3 lb packages. So I referenced 1 lb packages.
You then complained I used the wrong city for the store and you named three stores. So I used those three stores, still referencing the 80/20, and I used stores where you live. Not one was even close top $7.00/lb.
I even go the extra mile for you and reference the actual price and the real price of 80/20 between 2017 and now, so you know that I am providing context as to prices, and not ignoring history.

Only THEN do you decide to say you are referencing ANGUS beef at an 85/15 mix, yet you still refuse to provide any context as to the prices charged in the past at the same stores you demanded be referenced for pricing. For all we know, that same beef was $8.00/lb in 2017."

It's the only price you ever reference. And if you were paying $1.87 while delivering pizza, you NEVER paid $5.00 a gallon while delivering pizza, unless you delivered to houses 30 miles away.

Funny that you mention Biden entering the White House and prices going up.

Trump entered the White House and engineered a DIRECT increase in gas prices.
But that was for the good of Americans, right?

No, you claimed I was lying about what I paid for beef. I proved what I paid for it. You do what you do when proved wrong and that is to not admit you were wrong but to drag it out for years.

I said paid. You said paying. In fact you are still saying that.

Yes and the national average jumped to $2.39 a gallon the DAY he entered the White House.
Trump entered the White House and engineered a DIRECT increase in gas prices.
But that was for the good of Americans, right?

Read the quote.

Looks like it surged the day Trump took office, and continued.
But that was for the good of the country, right?
