Go look at the shelves in Walmart and I'd guess about 90% couldn't be sold as is in Europe because they have stricter regs on chemicals used in food. Which frankly I wish we had here tbh

Just because you say Trump is trying to assist them in escaping Romania doesn't make it so.

If they have to stay in Romania per the courts/law, but Trump wants to them to be able to leave, that would be assisting them in escaping Romania, no?

They are US/UK nationals who chose to liv ein ROmania. But now Trump wants them free to leave Romania while court action against them pends?
So they can go to the US and avoid prosecution in both the UK and the US?

What's Trumps reason for desiring their freedom so much?

There's so much lobbying by the food producers that it'll be more "righteous" outrage than doge is getting

Huh? The EU is talking about banning food from the US, That means we will not be selling food to THEM.
They're not talking about charging their own citizens additional tax on the goods (like Trump wants to do to US), they are talking about not buying the goods from us at all.

WE DO NOT CHARGE THEM TARIFFS ON GOODS THEY SHIP TO US. WE CHARGE OUR OWN CITIZENS THE TARIFF. THAT IS WHAT AN IMPORT TARIFF IS.

Clearly I do, but Trump and you do not.

An import tariff gets applied once the product has hit US customs and must be paid before the product is released from customs.
In order to get that product. the IMPORTER must pay the tariff on things above de minimis. Otherwise, the product doesn't get handed over.

Hence the name IMPORT TARIFF.
Any IMPORT TARIFF that Trump imposes gets paid this way. It is nothing new.

And making us pay more for the goods we import doesn't help to offset the sales lost if the EU stops importing our goods.

Haha this is archived news and was all this become headlined worthy because trump said something? are they being charged again since they fumbled the first time. Guess Rob doesn’t wanna do simple research about how long they custody without clear charges? And no I’m not big fan of the Tate brothers or the crimes.

I would like to see reduction in sugar in Americans palates and Kids breakfast food are just loaded. If they wanna teach corn hole activities and ****** preference to kid teach them health nutrition facts and diabetes complications.

Has Trump said he wants them to be able to leave Romania? I thought he said "be nicer."

Maybe Trump doesn't think the Tates should be trapped in Romania "forever" while Romania has this open ended investigation going on that they seem to be able to put together.

Amazing what the leftist teaching institutions are determined to teach our children while not teaching them much more important things. My kids schools are bound and determined to prevent boys from playing sports and being competitive.

I noticed that. Romania is prepping a second case against them, probably because their first case is falling apart. Keep in mind we don't have crimes, we have allegations.
