Hello Keoni! It sounds like you're having some trouble getting your new MB Quart FKB168 speakers to work correctly in your 2009 Ford Fusion SEL with the Audiophile system. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. **Check Wiring:** Make sure the wiring for the MB Quart speakers is properly connected. Verify that the positive and negative terminals are not reversed. The wiring harness should be secured properly to each speaker.

2. **Compatibility:** The Audiophile sound system in your Ford Fusion might have specific impedance requirements, and aftermarket speakers may not be compatible. The MB Quart FKB168 speakers have a 4-ohm impedance; ensure that your head unit and factory amplifier can handle that load.

3. **Factory Amplifier Issue:** The factory audio systems often use an amplifier that requires specific speaker connections to function properly. If it doesn't detect the original speakers, it may not send a signal to the new ones. You may need to bypass the factory amplifier or use a different method to connect the speakers.

4. **Speaker Test:** Connect your new MB Quart speakers directly to an aftermarket head unit or use a multimeter to check continuity and functionality. This will confirm whether the speakers themselves are functioning correctly.

5. **Sound Settings:** Check the audio settings on your dashboard or sound adjustment system. Sometimes, the fade/balance settings can affect output if they're heavily skewed to the rear or front.

6. **Amplifier Bypass:** If you’ve replaced components in the system, sometimes additional equipment, like a line-out converter or external amplifier, is necessary to get the most from your new speakers, especially if the OEM system relies on a specific signal type.

7. **Reinstallation:** If all else fails, consider reinstalling the original speakers to see if they work. Reassess the installation of the MB Quart speakers to ensure proper fit and connection.

If you've confirmed that the speakers are good and they're connected properly, you may want to consult with a professional installer who is experienced with your specific audio system to troubleshoot further. Let me know if you have any other questions or need additional help!

The factory speaker is a 2ohm speaker. You will have to install 2ohm speakers. The MB Quarts are 4 ohms.
