I will trust that the people imposing the tariffs know how they work

Trump can say it 100x a day for his presidency, but he is lying. An import tariff is paid by the receiver of the imported product.
Trump has no authority to enact export tariffs for other countries, even if he wants to, or lies about THAT too.

I'm still waiting for your proof that these "favorable terms" were achieved the last time Trump imposed (and then retracted after his bluff was called) tariffs on goods being imported into he US.

OK. Argue the WHOLE picture, Spoke. Show me the proof of how the tariffs succeeded in getting "favorable terms" last time, and how the same tariffs will similarly succeed THIS time.

It is not "equally profound" to say "God exists." There is some scientific evidence that points to the primordial soup and evolution. There is no evidence that "God exists" beyond pure belief. Believe what you want, but the two beliefs cannot and should not be equated.

I get what you are saying. When you actually start diving into the evolution, scientists state there are huge gaps. They don't have actual specimens and/or evidence of all the different stages of evolution. They all state it is just a theory, and the definition of a theory is basically a rational thought, which means it is just something they believe to be true.

However, I totally agree that we have different opinions, and I respect that.

Now, for my real thoughts...
Earth is not the only planet with intelligent life. Man has only been on earth for approximately 200,000 years. Technology wise, we have only had it for about 100 years and look how far we have come. My thoughts are, there are other much older planets out there. If so, there can be civilizations that are at least twice as old as we are. Imagine the technology they would have. They would have the ability to travel to multiple galaxies, create life, and develop planets. So, who is God? He could be a leader of a civilization who created us. They have found numerous drawings of a man ascending to earth in some type of vessel. Some writings state he arrived in a chariot of fire.

Did Trump lie about some things? Yes he did. The left makes bigger lies. We have proved it many times, so don' be an idiot and ask for proof.

Was life easier under Trump? Yes it was. Cost of living was better, there was less crime, and I was able to go to the doctors without having to wait months because of all the illegal immarants coming the government changing the how insurance is paid. Try to dispute this all you want, but this last election proves millions of people agree with me.

Tariffs are paid by the person who ordered the goods. This causes that person to have to raise the price of the product. Many countries charge a huge tariff tax on American products to help boost the sales of their domestic goods. At the same time, we charge none to very little import taxes. This allows other countries to sell their products cheaper here, so it makes it hard for domestic companies to compete with countries who pay and treat their employees like crap. Raising the import taxes will put American goods and foreign goods on a more competitive pricing scale. This is why the workers Unions supported Trump.
