$36T in debt and climbing.

I think Rob, in his singular view and pessimistic attitude, isn't able to see things from multiple points of view. At least not when it comes to things the right is doing. Words like "If", "Possibly", "Might", "Should", "Can" are all used when speaking about things that could be done. These are not set in stone however these words have been used to this point to get countries like Canada, Mexico and China thinking. They know Trump will do these things if he has to.

When you have people in your ear 24/7 brainwashing you with negative thoughts about the right you might be inclined to live your life thinking the worst about Republicans. I would blame Rob for being weak minded but that helps no one.

Canada and Mexico have WEAK border and immigration control. This allows undesirables into their countries. Hell, these undesirables may even pay people in these countries to allow them in. Perhaps even government officials. These people then make their way to The United States borders with their criminals and drugs. The U.S. wants Mexican and Canadian governments to get their borders in check. Are you following along Rob? To help (push) these countries into doing what they should already be doing with their borders Trump is THREATENING tariffs that will hurt these countries more than they hurt us.

The U.S. should not have to spend BILLIONS of dollars fighting illegals and drugs that these countries let walk through theirs first. Does this make sense to you yet Rob? I will pay a little more for gas if it keeps more drugs off the streets. I will pay a little more for wood if it keeps ****** out of the country. I will pay a little more to do my part as an American citizen. At least at that point any hardship is for the greater good and not for whatever get rich scheme the people in the swamp have.

How we slaves?
"According to the creation story, Anu, the main God of the Ancient Sumerians saw that the labor on Earth was too great. The Son of Anu, Enki, proposed to create a species that would inhabit the planet and bear the labor and so the gods created man. One of the Ancient Sumerian Gods was put to death and they mixed his blood with clay from Earth. Out of this material the first human was created in the likeness of the ‘Gods’."

The movie Prometheus is an elite religious movie about this very specific topic^^^

A decent amount of Bible stories and events are sourced from older dead languages like cuneiform and Egypt's glyphs and what not. The Bible is a giant mind control mush of manipulated stories to promote a false monotheism. I've actually gone through a decent amount of the raw translations of the stories and info on tablets like the Sumerian clay tablets, like their creation story and flood myth and what not, basically them coming to earth and somehow creating or manipulating humanity to become workers for them. And what do you know? We're almost to the AI singularity.

Enki is the god of the Illuminati, their god of transhumanism and eugenics.

That's the creation story, but I asked about us being slaves. How are we slaves to the Gods?

Just look at our deficit...we don't end up that far in fckn debt from responsible spending by our government...period
I agree that there is a clear connection between spending and the deficit. The connection between deficit and inflation isn't so concrete. Most of the money that gets created isn't created thru federal deficit spending. We print cash for consumer & commercial loans, etc. We print money to buy back debt (crazy huh?).

Think how much generational wealth just social security has removed from American citizens...any other retirement option can be passed on to your heirs but social is gone when you die...how much more money would we have in our pockets if the government wasn't bloated and wasteful with our tax dollars? It's starts with streamlining government and their spending before hammering on business will make a single difference
There is truth in this, but it's spinning off on a tangent to the discussion of how tariffs are going to eliminate the demand for drugs, reduce inflation, and reduce foreigners' desire to come to the "land of opportunity".

$36T in debt and climbing.
And it's been climbing for how long?
How do we eliminate govt debt?

He has already done it, and it simply cost the US citizens more money.
How is he going to do it where it doesn't cost us more money for goods, yet it somehow stops the demand for illegal drugs, and curbs the desire of foreigners to come to the US?

What is the power in "bluffing" that he will do something that he already did, and that failed?
"If you don't shut up, I'm going to throw a punch at you, and miss again" is not much of a threat.

Cool. Stop listening to the people brainwashing you into thinking the Chinese pay import tariffs on goods we buy.
Speak to the reality of a tariff, the fact that his last ones failed, and why you think doing the sane thing will be successful this time around.

The tariffs did nothing more than cost US money the last time around Even Mexico is scoffing at the threat.
There is no "threat" in repeating a previously failed attempt.

You're thinking that a tariff will keep illegals out, and reduce ****.
There is no correlation between tariffs and crime.
Can you explain where you got this notion?
You PAID more for gas and wood, it didn't reduce crime, and you have done nothing but complain about it.

What exactly do you think is going to be better about paying more when Trump gets in office?

how tariffs are going to eliminate the demand for drugs
The vast majority of drugs in this country come through the Mexican border...
There is no correlation between tariffs and crime.
The tariff is to "encourage" Mexico and Canada to not allow illegals to pass freely through their respective countries on the way to illegally come through our border...believe it or not but criminals come too...

And not following immigration law is crime so even those just looking for a better life are criminals...

OK. But again I'll ask, how does making us pay more for goods reduce the US demand for drugs, or a foreigner's desire to come here?

So the importer continues to pay $100 to China for that TV. With a tariff that an importer will NOT absorb, we now pay $250 retail instead of $200.

That forces China to stop sending us Fentanyl, how?

Same for gas. Canada gets the same $$ from us, but prices go up at our pump.
How does that make Canada want to prevent people from LEAVING Canada?

Do we or Canada have laws that say you cannot LEAVE the country?

And not following immigration law is crime so even those just looking for a better life are criminals...
So if I pay $250 fir that TV instead of $200, a Mexican will no longer want to come here illegally?

The correlation has been claimed probably ten times in the past few pages, but it seems no one can explain it.

I'm confused, how are tariffs going to shut down the illegal border crossings?

I know for a fact importers will absorb (some of) the tariff.

Right now mexico allows free run for immigrants from other countries to move through mexico to our border. Taking a hit to gdp from tariffs is bargaining point to get the Mexican government to quit that nonsense...

Because you're only looking at how it affects you...you obviously think tariffs ONLY affect the end of the chain...
It affects the exporter if it substantially reduces demand.
But then they'll just find a way to lower their costs and selling price to strike a balance.
Reduced quality, reduced features, etc. The way they kept prices down before.

So the exporter balances things out over time.

How does that reduce the demand for drugs, or the desire for people to leave a country and come here?

I'm simply asking for the how and why of those two distinctly separate things being discussed as if they are tied trunk to tail.

Use Canada. Tell me how a potential reduced demand for their gas will make their government establish better border patrol to keep people from leaving the country.
