Dump the 2 ga and go with 0/1ga instead. Also, use pure copper welding cable.

2/0 is larger than "0 gauge". That is pure copper welding wire.

smaller the gauge, lager the diameter. but, yes, a 2/0 has a larger diameter than 1/0 and can carry more current. a 2/0 ('two aught") for 00-gauge.

Then your last reply would not make sense. What he posted was 2/0 OFC welding wire. Which is larger than 2 gauge and 1/0.
