Power requirements for system

Been running this setup for about a month, but I believe im being bottle necked somewhere. any advice is welcome

gear: 330a HO alt, two sundown x12v3s, taramps 8k running at 2ohm (so about ~4200w) 60ah agm up front, 100ah agm in the rear wired in series (no battery isolator at the moment)

I have big 3 done with 1/0 awg, and I have a single 14ft 2/0 awg main power feed going from front to rear battery in series. voltage usually sits around 14 - 14.4 when playing heavy but can drop as low as 13.5 on the heaviest notes.

Mainly just trying to figure out if I have a weak link somewhere. dont get me wrong this system slams as it is, but ive seen similar setups that appear to be able to do more.

Dropping to 13.5v isn't a problem. If you think it should be louder I would be looking at the box.
gotcha, this box was built professionally, exactly to spec of these subs so idk. ill get dimensions and double check.
Also doesnt help that I idle in the high 12s to low 13s. which I thought I had fixed with an eld bypass cirucit I put together but I guess not.

also realized I said their wired in series....twice lol. Its parallel obviously
 
If you feel the enclosure is not the problem I'd focus on power and tuning myself. Personally I've seen 2 4K Sundown amps @ .5ohm on a pair of Xv2-12s and while being a bit risky on the power level they were loud and low. I'm saying +154db metering and 150+ on music. It demos great while he saves cliposaurus levels for the lanes.

Certainly depends on the vehicle and type of enclosure tuning for the subs and direction of the subs and port to begin with, then power /electrical requirements for the amplifier chosen.

Tuning.

I do have a nib smart isolator by Recoil for 50 if interested I can post in classifieds or it's up on Craigs st cloud, mn.

I was running a smart 3 on 2 sql-15's @ 1 ohm and a crescendo Symphony s6 running mids, highs, and a front suboff of a similar setup as you got (320a alt, 50ah agm under the hood, and 100ah agm in the rear. When I played a lot off really bass heavy tracks (techmaster peb, bassotronics, etc) I'd drop from 14.7v to mid 13's the closest thing to a problem I had from that was the roof flex 😂
