Yes, I get what you're saying. However, if we were to all live under the same laws, state laws would have never been made a thing. It was foreseen that each state would consist of people with different lifestyles. For example, people along the coast have no idea what it's like to be a farmer from the middle states, and vise-versa. Many of the big cities have residents that believe religion should be controlled by the government. Religious people don't believe this to be a good thing.
OTOH, the farmers in the middle of the country have no problem taking farming subsidies from the coastal elites. What you're calling control of religion, many would call separation of church and state.

"A convoy of American military vehicles has been pictured rolling across Poland's highways as the U.S. Army moves equipment to a site within the NATO member country to boost the alliance's eastern flank."

"Ray Wojcik, a retired U.S. Army colonel, told Newsweek last month that the site would eventually be fully equipped for an armored brigade, which sends a strong message to Moscow. It could be deployed to fight within a few days, rather than waiting for a month for the equipment to arrive by ship."

That would be 100% WW3, no doubts, no questions.

The cure for the wacky liberal agendas.

I come from a family that were big farmers. The amount of money it costs to farm, is ridiculous. Many of these overhead costs are due to the continually rising government regulations. The farmers accept the subsidies are needed to help cover these costs. On top of that, do you have any idea how much faming equipment costs?

Sure, they make a lot of money off it, but then again, they work harder than anyone you will ever meet. If they didn't get this money, they wouldn't find farming to be worth the effort. They would then quit farming.

They also accept these subsides because they are getting paid to grow what the government is asking them to grow. For example, corn is the most widely used crop. However, it requires a ton of work and overhead costs. They would rather grow alfalfa or wheat.

So, bottom line, please research why this money is being thrown out there, and just don't look for the ones that support your personal argument on it. I have searched both sides, and I lived it.

The separation of church and state is what's keeping the government out of controlling religion. However, many groups of people are working to find a way to get rid of this law. Just look at opening ceremony for the Olympics. The Bidens thought mocking The Last Supper was spectacular.

I remember when that news first dropped. The gov'ment said it was not done like that intentionally. They just wanted to turn his head and decided to just leave "In God We Trust" where it is because it was simpler. But then they were stuttering when it was pointed out that they still had to modify the way it was written, so it would have been easier to flip it with the head.
