Obama was historic. He got the delegates behind him. Nothing about forcing a nominee (harris) is historic, it absolutely should be denounced.

The black woman thing would be historic. I don't know that she's "forced." It's just a bad situation because Biden should have never ran in the first place. I'm more concerned about the fact that she's an intellectual embarrassment. Assuming she's shouldering the load since clearly Biden isn't, then she's blowing it out her arse. Letting the Petro dollar "expire" may be the stupidest move in the history of US politics. There's the DEI at the Secret Service debacle we just witnessed... As much as I dislike Trump this crowd has me seriously considering casting a vote for Trump.

As I have said to RobGMN in private messages, Harris is a BAD idea for POTUS. Sometimes doing things for the sake of making a mark in history is not good. I explained to him that many countries don't respect women let alone women of color. Of course he used that to insult me out of ignorance so I was forced to ask him and I will ask all of you the same question.

I'm just telling you the nature of the form of gov't we chose voluntarily when the constitution was established and confirmed again at gunpoint in the civil war. I'm all for California not being able to export it's policies (usually), however, that it isn't the form of gov't that exists currently. While many of the looney left policies are terrible, but I'm not ready to toss the republic in favor of a confederacy at this time.

Yes, I get what you're saying. However, if we were to all live under the same laws, state laws would have never been made a thing. It was foreseen that each state would consist of people with different lifestyles. For example, people along the coast have no idea what it's like to be a farmer from the middle states, and vise-versa. Many of the big cities have residents that believe religion should be controlled by the government. Religious people don't believe this to be a good thing.
