Yeah!!! She deserves the boot. Clearly many on Trump's security team (esp the women) were incompetent for whatever reason. Unforgivable. Glad to see her booted. Actually, the Dems did not make abortion on a national level. What the USSC did was establish a woman's right to abortion (or more accurately healthcare privacy) up to ~17 weeks and established that the state needed to demonstrate a "compelling interest" to restrict abortion after the ~17 week period. That's why I'm not fond of the USSC's decision in Jackson, because they could have found in favor of Jackson v Dobbs without overturning Roe v Wade.

The "perimeter states" get to choose because we're a republic, not a confederation. We've already had this debate twice as a nation, the second time involving a lot of bullets.

Perimeter states should not get to determine how the entire nation is run. Each state has different lifestyles. That's what makes America so great. If you don't like how your state is run, then move out of it. Right now, the dems wish to have the same laws as California, D.C., and New York. We all know how crappy the laws are in these states. Biden said California is a model state.

Those involve humanitarian issues. You can't really compare abortion rights to slavery rights. Scientifically, abortion cannot be argued with. Scientifically, abortion is a form of killing a human. However, many wish to use abortion as a form of birth control, so it has become a bigger issue. This is why it should be put on a state level and not a national level.

I've been wondering for a while if Kamala has been behind the curtain running the show; obviously Biden wasn't capable of running the gov't.

There are many people pulling Biden's strings. Heck even Obama has been recorded as visiting the White House multiple times a month for a while.

I was just saying this to a fellow employee who is a lifelong dem. Just last week, she was talking about how great his speeches are how she can't wait for another glorious 4 years with him. Now she's excited about Kamala. I just don't get these people.

It is just more proof that these dems are puppets. They think what they are told to think and vote how they are told to vote.

I'm just telling you the nature of the form of gov't we chose voluntarily when the constitution was established and confirmed again at gunpoint in the civil war. I'm all for California not being able to export it's policies (usually), however, that it isn't the form of gov't that exists currently. While many of the looney left policies are terrible, but I'm not ready to toss the republic in favor of a confederacy at this time.

There is a slight difference in that the left aren't the religious right, the moral majority (minority?), etc. The left often embraces degenerate behavior - see libs of Tiktok.
