In your particular scenario I would be justified to shoot people. Do you think Walmart is going arm guards with AR-15s and tell them to start shooting? A flash mob robbery doesn't rise to the level of using lethal force or really any sort of force in many states. I'm no fan of facial recognition, but how else are they going to stop these flash mobs???

No, Walmart is just gonna close then all of that area will fail then it'll be like some third world hell hole because a bunch of weak *** moron Americans let evil take over their city.

I'm sure they have. It's a bit different with a missile actually being launched into Russia(n territory) and hurting civilians, especially with it being so open to the public. They have to respond or their populace won't respect them, I imagine. Hopefully Russia doesn't pay Cuba or the cartels to shoot missiles into the U.S.

The shitstorm that would come down on Cuba should have them thinking twice and or have them trying to talk some sense into Putin. I lived near the Kings Bay Naval Base in GA and have seen with my own eyes the 24 tall red missile tubes that I touched with my own hands while on board one of these subs. We would turn Cuba into an uninhabitable wasteland or we would have a new vacation spot.

I think it's just about the entire US gov personally, the uniparty, but yeah. And they'll have no problem recruiting your sons and daughters to go stand in a field to be made into a body parts salad by Russian artillery in Ukraine. They would probably get even more erect making money off dead Americans, especially if some event happens that makes Americans support Americans directly entering the war...

Joe Biden and most of the gov (probably) likes to sniff kids and start wars.

In all seriousness, there is no easy solution. The Krogers/King Soopers in my neck of the woods have started hiring armed guards or off-duty police. But are they really going to shoot somebody over some groceries? If somebody does end up getting shot over some groceries, how many millions will that cost the retailer? I'm a tough on crime guy, but I just don't see an easy solution. I'd say break out the baton, but they don't do that anymore.

But what is the solution? If a Walmart guard (or police officer) were to shoot one of these thieves, that will be a multi-million dollar lawsuit. What if an innocent person ends up taking a bullet in the chaos? I'm all for bringing back the baton and using pain compliance, but that isn't going to fly in the major cities. Plus you can only have one or two armed guards per store, so how are the supposed to stop 30+ people from bum rushing the place?
