Yeah its a "border bill"...

Anyone that votes for biden as a Roe savior is a fool...

He's had plenty of years to draft and propose legislation to preserve abortion...not once did he...
Biden used to be the "centrist democrat" that reached across the asile to work with Republicans. Hardly the guy I would expect to draft an abortion bill. If by some miracle an abortion bill landed on his desk, I'm sure Joe would sign it.

I'm sure he would too but all the dems that go so hard (past and present representatives) on the issue are scared to draft legislation...any blame for the scotus decision should placed squarely on them for not bolstering roe with actual law...

They can’t put that to rest with a law cause if they did, they will lose one of their talking points. The same goes for poverty, they will never do something to fix it cause they need people to remain in it in order to get those votes. I’ve said it many times, the amount of money they spent on covid alone, they could of took just a 1/3 of that money and gave it to the 6.5 million families in this country to end poverty in an instant. While I would be against such a hand out I would be ok with it so long as those who get bailed out of it and go back into poverty, it proves the point it’s your fault for being in poverty to begin with 🤷🏼‍♂️.

So SCOTUS doesn't have accept blame for their over reach because Dems didn't push thru pro-choice legislation? I'm not buying that reasoning. I highly doubt the Dems could have pushed thru such legislation even if somebody drafted such legislation.

Had they drafted law...Roe wouldn't have been reversed...at worst the law would've been stress tested in scotus but track record shows most law passes that unless there's obvious flaws within...

So yes...blame falls on the lack of bolstering legislation and those that campaigned on abortion while refusing to address it...not the courts...

"Case law" is not law...law requires elected representatives to propose, ratify, and vote to pass...

So lack of a law excuses bad actions by the court? Even if the Dems draft abortion legislation what do you think the chances of getting it thru congress were - less than 1%???

We'll never know because they never tried even when they had both houses...
