I remember a time before 2016 when democrats and republicans felt the same way about the border. You can find plenty of videos of democrats such as hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Obama, and the list goes on about being firm when it came to illegal immigration and border security. All of sudden trump comes along saying the same things about the border but mentioning things he would do in order to fix it. He magically wins and starts doing things and they cry he is a racist, not letting immigrants in is unamerican, he is separating families and the list goes on. Democrats over night suddenly became so pro immigration (illegal immigration it seems) that you would never think they ever were very firm about it. Both parties are guilty for leaving the loop holes in place, trump was the first one to try and take a stand. Democrats cause they hate him so much that whatever he does, they say it’s wrong and automatically believe magically in the opposite. It has gone so far that in NY they passed a bill to allow immigrants to vote but thank the lord it was challenged and the courts blocked it! Before this mess started to level it is today, it was costing the American tax payer $350 billion a year to deal with illegal immigration. We have roughly 167 million tax payers in the USA. If you split that burden evenly, that is just about $2100 per tax payer a year. Just imagine how much it is costing now!

As far as Ukrain goes, that should be Germany, UK, France, Spain etc problem. They should be the one forking up the money as they are all sharing borders with one another! We give out so much money to different countries it’s no wonder why taxes here are so high and we are in debt up the ***! What we need to do is get the deficit down, get the dollar stronger again and when we have money to burn and OUR people are well taken care of, then we can blow some money elsewhere on foreign interests. I think in the current political climate we forget that we are all on the same side here. Due to this fact both sides have taken some insane stances solely cause of their political beliefs and them trying to stay true to their party. For example democrats have lost their mind with the entire gender thing. Republicans have gotten way too forceful on the pro life agenda and I’m pro life lol. Ok my rant is over

No, but none of them did anything about the border issue either. Congress is tasked with that responsibility. The bill is on the table, it will help and it needs to pass. COngress has all the purse strings and if the mula aint there, then you can't just shut things down, doesn;t work that way.

We just gave another $98 billion to Ukraine. Apparently, it's more important to take care of another country than taking care of our own. With $98 billion dollars, I guarantee that boarder will be secured.

Here's my question. Why do people think Ukraine needs money to fight a war with the second most powerful military in the world? Let's all think about this for a while. What are they doing with the money? Buying supplies and weapons, right? Then why not just give them the supplies and/or weapons instead of the money? Think of how much more they would get if we gave them $98 billion worth of supplies and/or weapons. Could it be because some of that money is being transferred into personal accounts? Why are conservatives the only ones asking this question?

The border is a mess down here. It’s steadily gotten worse since the 1994 Bill Clinton border closing. Prior to 1994, people from Mexico could freely travel back and forth across the border daily to work. After 1994 that became harder to do, so Mexicans decided to just stay here instead. Also, they’re claiming to “deport“ people, which is a joke. They give them a deportation hearing to go to in the year 2028 and expect them to return after shipping them halfway across the country. If our news media wasn’t owned by big pharma and elitist douchebags the entire country would know how bad it is.

On a side note, my car was just totaled by an illegal who was wanted for burglary. They served a warrant on him and he was somehow able to steal a sheriff vehicle and totaled 2 other vehicles after they spike stripped him on a small 2 lane highway. There are constant runners out here who have high speed crashes with border patrol and an absolute asston of fentanyl on the streets. Yuma AZ declared a state of emergency months ago and smaller resort areas that used to be open in Mexico to travel to are now all closed.

I went out to LA to screw around at the beach and walk amongst the homeless hoards recently. The illegal Mexicans fighting in Home Depot parking lot to get into a local construction contractors pickup for a day of labor was an interesting show. I stayed at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown LA and went out at night on foot for food and drink every night to check out the local band scene. Super fun city but the amount of homeless and desperate immigrants was pretty nuts.

Yeah... Tell me about it. I work for the government, as an employee and not a contractor, and I have to deal with all the destruction the homeless and illegals cause. I get to see them get arrested for vandalizing government property. Then 30 minutes later, I see them walking by my office window because we can't hold them. However, if your a taxpaying citizen, then your butt is getting locked up.

I was walking through PD, last week, and they had a guy in there that was arrested for peeing in a bush. It was a bush behind a building, and it was at night. I was shocked because the week prior, the cops stopped a homeless guy who took a crap on the sidewalk in broad daylight. They just told him not to do it again. The guy, who was arrested for urinating, will now have to register as a *** offender because someone claimed she saw his bare butt cheeks.

Agree with you on Trump and the border. Hopefully somebody (else hopefully) will step up and put sane restrictions on immigrating to this country. I'm all for immigration, but it can't be a freaking free ride and free for all. There has to be some sort of sensible framework. And illegals voting is pure insanity.

OTOH, UK, France and Spain don't share a border with the Ukraine. IMHO, Ukraine is our business. The Russian invasion is both a NATO and global issue. The invasion is also a matter of Free Market economies vs Oligarchies. For all the faults of Capitalism, it's still superior to Oligarchies.

Hasn't really been "the best goodies." They've been getting alot of artillery and rockets that were ready to expire, and old equipment. Ukraine "wins" just like Russia & Afghanistan have defeated their enemies in the past, by outlasting them.
