Current events discussion

Here's my last question, for today.

If democrats care so much about children and helping others, while republicans only care about their Bible and guns, why do y'all fight so much against people watching the movie The Sound of Freedom, and why didn't the democrats fight to have the Epstein files released?

You know, Trump was one of the biggest pushers to put these two things out there. The democrats told everyone that the movie was rightwing propaganda and they totally ignored the Epstein files and claimed they were never brought to them.

WOW... LOL... I am just shaking my head while reading your comments.

Now please step away from your Biden shrine and pay attention to what I'm saying and not what you want to pick out and comment on.

You totally disregard what I was telling you about what attorney train and learn to do. Of course they don't always have a jury, but they still study for it because a majority of their court hearings will consist of a jury. Like Biden always says "COME ON MAN!!!"

No where did I defend a car salesman? You definitely pulled that out of your rear. And no, I don't know any.

Never mind with this conversation with you. After seeing your last comments, it's obvious you only read what you want and have an extremely severe case of TDS. By the way, that stands for "Trump Deranged Syndrome."

As for companies selling crap to make a profit? We are in a car audio forum. What the hell do you think a majority of the equipment sold is? Crap! Why... because the average person doesn't want to pay 3x as much for the better equipment. What does that mean? Wait for it.... The company is selling what the consumer wants! How many subs do you think Rockwood subs do you think is sold compared to JL Audio? I'm guess a heck of a lot more.

Now let me explain, again, how a business works. A businessman, like Trump, will do what he has to do to keep his company running strong. He will do what it takes to appease the majority of his customers. Is this all sounding familiar now? It the real-estate business, it is common practice to buy a company and claim bankruptcy on it. Some people got hurt, but a majority did not, especially his customers, which are his stockholders and investors. While President, Trump's company was the USA. He made us a stronger country, stronger people, and more profitable. Heck, even the minorities are realizing it and jumping off the democrat bandwagon. Even the most popular hip-hop artists are talking about how they got scammed by Biden and how much better Trump was.

Now attorneys... they only care about the credability. They will screw an entire family just to make themselves look good.

Last, but not least... Are you listening? please pay attention when I say this, because I have said it many times before, on here. TRUMP IS NOT A GREAT PERSON. I DON'T THINK IS A GREAT PERSON AT ALL. However, he ran the country better than Biden, and I already proved that.

I hate to say it bro... you have way too much emotion into protecting the democrats and not opening your eyes to how dishonest they are. It's blinding you. Sure, you're thinking "Oh yeah... Trump is more dishonest." My answer is "So what if he is. He still ran the Country better than Obama and Biden."
Bro we have all been down this road with the misinformation officer "Rob".....he is only here to argue and create confusion/chaos....you say "black" he will argue to no end claiming "white" its just what he does....dont waste too much time on him (thats what he wants)

I honestly believe he is a fed. agent with the objective of stirring the pot to try and create "right wing extremists" for an easy/setup arrest to fit the left wing narrative....his behavior is just strange

Sorry bud, but the number of civil trials that are decided by a jury is in the range of 1%.
The number of Federal criminal trials decided by a jury is in the range of 5%.
I would suggest that neither number is anywhere CLOSE to a "majority".

All of that typing, and all of those words, yet you completely failed to address the list of points I specifically (and multiple times) asked you to address.
Yet, you accuse me of "changing the argument". Ironic.
How about you stop "changing the argument" and answer the questions that are directly related to the argument? Here, I'll ask them again so you don't have to look them up:
1. PLEASE provide your analysis of the numbers that shows the reduction in 2020 did not have anything to do with COVID, and that the other analysts are wrong. Share your datasets, and the whys and hows of reaching your conclusion.
2. Explain WHY you think such a radical change under Trump is an "outlier", yet a less radical change of similar data under Biden is an indicator that he is a failure regarding the same situation.
3. Please tell us more about how all Democrats I (or anyone else) vote for are "all attorneys". Tell us more about attorneys in general and how they are all scumbags. Tell us the the balance of Republican vs Democrat attorneys in the US. Here's a reference to help you: https://chicagounbound.uchicago.edu...edir=1&article=2446&context=law_and_economics
4. Tell us more about how Democrats are more violent than Republicans. Reconcile your analysis with these studies that show a different conclusion. Use the same datasets and tell us where their research and analysis got it wrong: https://carnegieendowment.org/2022/...-states-and-damage-to-our-democracy-pub-87584
https://www.researchgate.net/figure..., Republicans are somewhat more,33, p 0 0.020).
"Republicans are somewhat more aggressive than average, while Democrats are somewhat less aggressive than average (the difference between Democrats and Independents was significant in the other direction — Mann-Whitney U test: Z 0 2.32, N =54,33, p 0 0.020)"
"From 2017 when their tracking begins, support for political violence rises across several measures prior to the midterm elections and declines after the elections. It also spikes (especially for Republicans) around then-President Trump’s first impeachment, and again drops afterward. Support for violence from 2017 through the summer of 2020 is generally quite close across parties but somewhat higher for Democrats, though as I’ll show later, actual incidents of violence are far higher for Republicans."

A businessman, like Trump, will do what he has to do to keep his company running strong.

No kidding? You mean like an attorney doing whatever they can do within the law to win their case?
Or are you suggesting that a business/businessman will always do what is best for the customer, even at their own business expense?
For example, Bill's Audio Installs will tell you to go to Best Buy to get your head unit b/c they are offering free install, and Bill's has to charge to meet their overhead costs? Cool. I suppose Trump took a pass on business deals that could have made him a profit because there were others that needed the profit more? His goal was to be a nice guy and just help others instead of making his own profit?
What happened with the bankruptcies? Shouldn't he have continued funding the businesses so that the workers, creditors, customers, etc, could all benefit from his business benevolence?

Yeah it sounds utterly ridiculous, because it is utterly ridiculous to think business exists for reasons other than to profit. Sorry if I don't believe the fantasy that business exists to do what is best for the customer.

Well since RobGMN can't stop being a hypocrite and provide actual evidence ill be the bigger person and just move one since I am tired of reading his repetition of word salad. Dude starting to sound like Kamala so for the rest of the people in this forum who don't suffer from TDS you guys have any preference for who should be trumps VP

You are going round and round. Just you Rob because you have to force your point. No matter how wrong it is.
Cool story. So continue to deny facts even when the proof is on the screen in front of all of us.
If you want to look the fool, it's your choice.
I made a point about Biden at that time. I then moved on to other topics. YOU went back to Biden. Now you are arguing about it. Go figure.
Yes. History is irrelevant. Once something has happened, it's irrelevant history and you can just claim it never happened. Facts be damned. Nice fantasy world,
You scratch my back I will scratch yours. It's all who you know. It is a Democrat club after all.
"It's a Democrat club"? WTF does that even MEAN? The United States? the US Government? The world? Pizza Hut?
You are all over the map as usual, and not making any sense.
At least you're not posting meaningless charts that you intended to post under your other user name.
I did not claim I never said it. I said I was talking about TRUMP at the time you claim I was talking about Biden. You were the one lagging behind. Either keep up with the discussion or shut your lip.
"I'm not portraying Biden doing anything." Proved false with a screenshot of your own post.
But it's OK. Just keep claiing it never happened. Repeat a lie enough, and it becomes truth, right?
I made the statement that YOU will call Trump a liar no matter the reason.
I will call Trump a liar when Trump lies. And he does it plenty. 30,000+ times in 4 years.
Maybe even more than he tells the truth?
He knows more about lying than anybody in the history of the world.
And about renewable energy, and taxes.
"I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth." (April 2016.)
"I think nobody knows more about taxes than I do, maybe in the history of the world." (May 2016.)

And gullible suckers eat up his lies like they are free candy.

Interesting. I'M the hypocrite after providing data, yet you REFUSE to support your own claims with so much as ONE fact.
Give it a shot. Try to argue with more than your beliefs or personal opinions.
Answer the questions that speak to YOUR claims of what happened during Trump.

1. PLEASE provide your analysis of the numbers that shows the reduction in 2020 did not have anything to do with COVID, and that the other analysts are wrong. Share your datasets, and the whys and hows of reaching your conclusion.

Get help for that TDS

Please, list this denial you keep claiming I am making. I have told you a few times now that I am not denying anything but clearly in your mind I am so tell me what I am denying so you can shut up.
Yes. History is irrelevant. Once something has happened, it's irrelevant history and you can just claim it never happened. Facts be damned. Nice fantasy world,
It seems to be relevant when it helps you drone on and on about the same things.
"It's a Democrat club"? WTF does that even MEAN? The United States? the US Government? The world? Pizza Hut?
You are all over the map as usual, and not making any sense.

It's self explanatory. The Democrat party is a club.
"I'm not portraying Biden doing anything." Proved false with a screenshot of your own post.
But it's OK. Just keep claiing it never happened. Repeat a lie enough, and it becomes truth, right?
You are dumb. I portrayed Biden as being stupid AT THE TIME I WROTE IT and not when I was talking about Trump. At that time I was talking about Trump. Just dumb as a rock but please, keep telling me what I was doing and what I was thinking.
I will call Trump a liar when Trump lies. And he does it plenty. 30,000+ times in 4 years.

Ahhh yes, the old I am in charge of Disinformation, Misinformation and what we on the left call lies. The first play in the book is to find someone to hate. You all picked Trump. As for him knowing more than anyone about lying... you seem to think you know more about it than anyone Rob and man are you running with that delusion.

Answer the questions. Provide the proofs to back up your claims.
Still waiting for you to stop changing the argument.

If you are incapable, maybe arguing the topic isn't something you should have delved into.
Not sure why people can't accept the fact that a global pandemic kinda screws up analyst of anything, whether it's inflation, immigration, education, supply chain issues, etc. And of course depending on a person's political proclivities, if you brought up how education took a nosedive since 2020, that person would either blame or ignore Covid's impact at their convenience.

That said, I'll give Trump credit for being the first POTUS since Reagan to address the issue. I'll critique Trump for not having a more comprehensive solution to immigration and using the issue to race bait. I'll credit Biden for largely keeping Trump policies in place. I'll critique Biden for not having a more comprehensive solution to immigration. I'll critique the USSC/courts for saying Texas can't secure their border. I don't see how Texas securing the/their border violates any laws even if the border is a federal responsibility. That be like me telling my wife she can't do the dishes for me because I agreed to do the dishes on Wednesday nights.

Please, list this denial you keep claiming I am making. I have told you a few times now that I am not denying anything but clearly in your mind I am so tell me what I am denying so you can shut up.
A fair request. Your post portraying Biden as doing something (or being unable to do something), followed by your post claiming you are not portraying Biden as doing something (or being unable to do something). Are those actually your posts, or do you share your account with someone else?

It seems to be relevant when it helps you drone on and on about the same things.
It's self explanatory. The Democrat party is a club.
And? WTF does that have to do with anything? You said "It" is a "Democrat club". What is "It"? The country? Your state? Your town? The world?
You are like the people who talk about the secret "they" who meet to decide the fate of the world, and set gas prices before breakfast.
You are dumb. I portrayed Biden as being stupid AT THE TIME I WROTE IT and not when I was talking about Trump. At that time I was talking about Trump. Just dumb as a rock but please, keep telling me what I was doing and what I was thinking.
So, you thought it AT THE TIME, but then you no longer believe it? The though was in your head as you typed it, and then just suddenly went away? If asked NOW, would you still think the same thing, or would you have to go back and read what you posted so you would know what to think?
Would you now portray him as completely capable of tweeting since you saw a picture of him with a phone, just like when you see Trump with a phone and KNOW he completely capable?
Ahhh yes, the old I am in charge of Disinformation, Misinformation and what we on the left call lies. The first play in the book is to find someone to hate. You all picked Trump. As for him knowing more than anyone about lying... you seem to think you know more about it than anyone Rob and man are you running with that delusion.
You are spinning off on a tangent because you can't speak to the actual topic.
Kettle fallacy. Proof by assertion fallacy. Slippery slope fallacy. Petitio principii. Plurium interrogationum. Fault generalization. Argument from anecdote. Thought-terminating cliche`. Post hoc ergo propter hoc.

You've used them all and more in your arguments, instead of just supporting your claims.
Probably put more effort into NOT answering than you would have if you just answered.
