I kind of expect that to happen. I think what happens will depend on how hard or how many of the people push the gov to disclose this info.

What about all the Republicans in gov't? Are they just neutered and powerless, or are they under the thumb of the deep state?
If so, then why did anyone ever claim that Trump did so well as POTUS? How and why would the deep state let him?

Yeah, I’d say most of the gov is deep state; that’s why our country is falling apart. It is a reflection of us as a people, to a large extent.

Republicans are both neutered and under the thumb, just depends. I’m not a Republican or Democrat, fyi.

The deep state greatly threw a wrench in Trump’s presidency, and he’s far from perfect, but the deep state can only control the minds of the people as much as the people let them. Trump was able to get in, because of his absolutely massive support from the people.

How much shit Trump gets legally thrown at him seems to indicate he’s not part of the deep state, but it’s hard to truly know.

His absolutely massive support lost him the popular vote. He only won due to the antiquated Electoral College that was created in a time when whistle stop campaigns were literally the only way to reach the people.

If there truly was a Democrat "deep state" running the show, no Republican would ever get in office. Unless maybe it was because the deep state knew bad times were coming, and needed a scapegoat.
But if they could predict the future, then why not just fix it before it happens?
