Joe Rogan himself said he took it. he posted it on Instagram after he got sick with COVID.
Did you forget that fact? It's kind of important if you are going to claim he never said it.
Here's a video of him saying it. He hasn't denied the accuracy of the video or said that it was a deepfake, and has even defended his use of the drug:
Watch it and tell me if I am wrong about him using and promoting the use of it.
National Institutes of Health (.gov)
What is ivermectin drug of choice for?
It is effective against a wide range of parasites, including gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, mites, lice and hornflies.
Mayo Clinic: "Ivermectin. The drug ivermectin, used to treat or prevent parasites in animals and in humans, isn't a drug used to treat viruses."
FDA: Ivermectin tablets are approved by the FDA to treat people with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. In addition, some topical forms of ivermectin are approved to treat external parasites like head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea.
IT ISN'T A DRUG USED TO TREAT VIRUSES.
So if a doctor prescribed it to combat a virus, the doctor is a hack. Much like your doc must be (the one you accuse of claiming there are no nerves in bones).
Now that I am home and can respond to this. Are you serious? He said he took Ivermectin, not "horse dewormer". The woman doing the commentary is the one who said that. Geee, I wonder if she is biased. Ivermectin is ALSO used for treating animals. You do know there is a difference in Humans and Animals right? Furthermore Ivermectin is used primarily in humans now, not animals.
Obviously it IS used to treat a virus as it was prescribed to treat a virus. It's ok Rob, we know how it works for you. If you don't agree with what doctors say then they are hacks. Because truth be told, YOU are the foremost expert in all things medical, political, car audio, firearms, scooters, fraud related, opinionated, factual, gender related, Google, to do with the Oxford English Dictionary and ************.
SoooOOOOORRRRRRRYYYYYyyyyyy.
