Thought it was common knowledge. The conservatives (many of whom, ie Flat Footer Limbaugh, avoided the draft themselves) threw an absolute shyt fit over Clinton avoiding the draft. They were almost as upset that Clinton avoided the draft as they were that he got bj from somebody other than his wife.

That's why I think service should be mandatory, especially if you're a son of the wealthy elite or congresscritter. I wonder if Bush's lies about WMD in Iraq would have been so easily accepted if the sons & daughters of CongressCritters had to join in the fighting.

The war did practically lock Bush Jr into a second term. Still I wonder if the Bush girls and Liz Cheney and the sons & daughters of the powerful and wealthy would have to do the fighting, would we have blundered in Iraq when it was pretty obvious they didn't have an "Active WMD Program?"

I don't get the study. They found that unmasking after we achieved herd immunity had no effect? Okay. Plus it was the high risk ward where I'd imagine they had higher levels of vax.
