I can tell you the one on Rte 59 in Illinois is a major highway going through that area. How do I know? Simple from that area originally and that one is always busy. So closing it is a very odd choice. That highway is non-stop traffic 24/7 but it also has stores all over the place you name it and it is there somewhere. Growing up Rte 59 was nothing but farmland but since 2000 it has exploded with everything being built on it. That one closing doesn't make sense considering it is a upper middle class area and a lot of money in that area. The one on Jefferson Street in Joliet would make more sense considering the crime and issues that it has.

I can tell you right now the one on Rte 59 is busy 24/7. That highway is non-stop all the time. High end houses 500,000 to 1 million. The one on Jefferson street is high crime, gangs and constant police calls. I know I lived there for 25+ years. I grew up there I know most of chicago and that area backwards and forwards. You can go to that store at 2 am and its busy. Security reasons alone Jefferson street should be closed with the amount of gang problems, thefts and violence. And you wouldn't know what the profits are nor would I. But I can say 1000 times over Rte 59 is a busier place with more money just from the traffic alone. That road and area is nothing but expensive houses. I know I put a LOT of the burglar, fire alarms in them. Me and my crew would do at least 2 houses a week in that area for a year straight. Those houses are all 2000-4000 square feet. Big time money, doctors, celebrities, former football players from the area and so on.

Also FYI Walmart would lie their a$$es off for a reason to close a store. I know mom was a CSM at one for a few years. You can't trust anything that scumbag company or owners say.

Like I care what you think or what your logic is. I know what mom saw and went through with them morons. They lie to the employees all the bloody time. It wasn't just mom who told me stuff, had a ex-gf who worked at the Jefferson Street store who told me stuff that happened. EVERYONE who lives in that area considers that one on Jefferson ST the "scummy" store, the place where the gangs go, the place where if you want to get robbed in the parking lot go there. If you want a decent Walmart you go to Rte 59 or to Kankakee Store.

I also have friends on the JPD one who is a 911 dispatch, JFD and PPD and PFD all from my days of being a FF'er down there. Who always update me on what is going on since I still go down there all the time. What areas to avoid what areas are having issues so I know not to go near them.

But w/e you will argue about anything with anyone just to argue. Reminds me of a Mister-Know-It-All where you always know more then someone else regardless of the situation.
