If a bridge is something that joins two things, how can two things that are directly joined be “bridged”?
Specifically, how can you consider two wires that are touching each other as having a “bridge”?
If they are soldered together, why would you not say “spliced”?
YOU are the one so often arguing your words are misconstrued, taken literally when you want them interpreted or vice versa, or not comprehended.
If you feel words are such a problem, wouldn’t it make sense to speak as accurately as possible?
Wouldn’t it make sense to use the words that are appropriate for the context you are trying to convey?
