No, I was playing the odds. The same thing has occurred with every presidency since 1947, regardless of whether the incumbent or their replacement was in for 1 or 2 terms. That places the odds of it happening again at better than it not happening again, especially without some dramatic change to the ideology of the parties.
Guess what else I can consider good odds? Other factors equal, the nominal price of gas at the pump will jump, around Memorial day. Is it guaranteed? Of course not. Am I hoping for it? Of course not.But history puts the odds at pretty high.

Nah, I got it. I'd hardly call it "lambasted." Secondly, Trump was making claims about vax being ready in months not a year. He was continually called out for his overly optimistic vaccine release dates. If only they could have got to market in months as Trump suggested, he might still be in office.

Why would he make claims and fast track a vaccine for a virus that he said multiple times would disappear? According to the MAGA people the vaccine doesn't work. I'm lost in the confusion from the Republicans. They want to give Trump credit for a vaccine that doesn't work and is killing everybody. I guess that = four more years. Are they that confused?

I'm not sure that the Republicans are giving Trump credit for the vaccine. The vast majority of the evidence indicates that the vaccine works similar to the flu vaccine(s).

Did you get vaccinated? If so, what do you care.
Are you going to vote for Trump? If not, what do you care.
It's obvious that Trump is the biggest thing in your life since he was elected and you still can't stop talking about him. I don't hear guys talk about sports or diesel trucks as much as you have talked about Trump.
