Yes your comparison is Trump & Biden's taxes to theft or breaking the law is faulty since there is no evidence either broke the law.

Perhaps in your zeal to label others hypocrites you got confused about what was actually being criticized. Our Orange Friend said he would release his taxes, then didn't. So he was being criticized for lying. Biden did release his taxes - no hypocrisy there.

When Trump didn't follow through on his promise to release his taxes, that lead to speculation about how bad they were; what was he hiding? The public is well aware of the low tax rates paid by (wealthy) politicians, ie Ross Perot at 10%, Teresa Hienz-Kerry at 17%. So critics began wondering how bad are Trump's taxes if he's unwilling to release them.

I do find it odd that in thread about politics one would refuse to take a stand on one of the most basic principles - tax code fairness.

Nope, not at all. Hypocrites because they feel the need to make Trump "give up" his tax records so they can smear him in some way when nobody is trying to make anyone else "give up" their tax information. Not because Trump decided not to release his taxes. Taxes are not public record so people need to mind their own business. If these spiteful government officials want to make Trump release them then every last one of them need to be made to do exactly the same thing, completely and fully investigated.

When I posted it was about hypocrisy, not criticizing this or that by anyone else.

You mean like the guy on this forum who posted dozens of times that (at various times): January 6th never happened; January 6th was just a friendly party of wearing hats and waving flag; January 6th was staged by Democrats; there was no violence or plans for violence on January 6th; Trump had nothign whatsoever to do with the events of the day; etc?

Really? That's what you are going to fall back on? I am going to ignore this comparison based on the fact that more and more each day more facts come to light.

However, The next Presidential election, I would like you to peacefully and patriotically make your voice heard by going down and voting.

You must have missed what actually happened. Trump offered up his tax returns as every other POTUS/nominee has done and caught shyt when he failed to follow thru. Nevertheless, I'm all for all congress critters tax returns being made public. While we're at, IMHO they should also be forbade from investing outside of Index funds and similar instruments.

He offered, then changed his mind. If someone offers me something then changes their mind I am not going to cry like a baby and throw a fit like all the Democrats do. People are allowed to change their minds.

Okay, but it's tradition to provide the returns in question. Additionally, Trump somehow evaded the Presidential audit, which is not optional.
