It is what the modern day left wants.

They want everyone and everything canceled that goes against their ideologies. . .
They want to label everything hate speech
They want everything to be racists etc. . .

Far and large you see that shit from the left vs. people on the right.

Thats where we are today. Thats why modern-day liberalism is a cancer, and it baffles me how people can side with that bull shit.

I agree cancel culture is a giant crock of shyt. I wonder why it was acceptable to the right when it was the left (or foods with French in them) that were getting cancelled. And of course that begs the question, since the left was critical of the "cancelling" that took place during the lead up to the invasion of Iraq, why have they adopted this "cancelling tactic?" Is it because they witnessed how effective it was at suppressing anti-war rhetoric and concluded, "we should give that a try?"

There are obvious examples such as the twitter bans. What about when the Biden refuses to call on reporters outside his "preferred" list? What about what happened to Kathy Griffin - the right cancelled the living shyt out of her career. Colin Kaepernick? There is a long list of books pulled off the library shelf by conservatives. Ironically Ellen DeGeneres has been cancelled by both the left and right. Conservatives were successful at cancelling her sitcom when she used it as vehicle to reveal she was a lesbian. Then Ellen got cancelled again when it came out that she's occasionally mean to her staff. The right has been attempting to cancel Jane Fonda since the 60s. Remember conservatives burning their Nikes when Nike signed Kaepernick to an ad campaign? How about the Target boycotts when they said they would not discriminate against transgenders?

In conclusion, I agree cancel culture is a plague on society, but I'm not the least baffled by "how people can side with that bull shyt." It's been an effective tactic for both sides because their political loyalties allow them to look past the hypocrisy of their own actions.

Like so many things, it's entirely acceptable when the Right does it to others, but if it's done to THEM, it's the end of the world.

TODAY . . . the left are the ones getting people shut out on social media for challenging their ideologies. If you are a white Christian male with conservative views. . you are deemed a white supremacist or a nazi. They are the ones indoctrinating kids in our schools and arguing against the fundamental facts of human biology.
