I posted the information about “proved” and “proven”.
Did you not comprehend it, or just don’t like the facts?
Let’s try again:
“Today, both proved and proven are now considered correct. Still, two major style guides, The Chicago Manual of Style and The Associated Press Stylebook, prefer proved as the past participle. Throughout the 1800s, grammar guides recommended proved over proven, and that advice has stuck with us to a certain extent.
I am aware of your post. It's deeper than that but it's cool... I am glad you at least posted all of the relevant information. That's quite the change for you.

Show me the spin you are talking about this time.
"I am glad you at least posted all of the relevant information. That's quite the change for you."

What happened to your many complaints that I post too much fact and information from all of the resources the internet allows us to access?

THAT is the spin. You flip-flop like a flounder.

I say you demand facts from people, claim to make decisions based on facts, however you do in fact use your feelings to make choices and what you heard was me complaining that you post too many facts? When you post facts you post other peoples facts and pass them off like you already knew the information. I am saying you are stupid which is why you argue on a web forum... so you can google your responses.

On a lighter note... tell me, how does one flip-flop like a flounder. In all my years of fishing I have never known a flounder to "flip-flop" as you say.

Wait a minute, you want me to personally analyze and determine on my own every fact that I post here? I need to write my own dictionary, gather stats from hospitals, create my own anatomy textbooks, create mathematics theory from scratch? Interesting.
Is that what you think you are doing when you just make shit up and post it here as if it is fact? Like the claim that supply and demand doesn't drive price changes?

And, for just one minute, THINK about the idea that I don't know things. How would I even BEGIN to research something that I know nothing about, and find the right answer? Needle in a haystack.
Maybe that needle is what YOU are dealing with, and why you get so much wrong: You don't even know where to begin looking for verification of what you think might be fact.

It's like beating a dead horse, but all I needed to do to confirm my memory was right about nerves being in bones was to go to Gray's Anatomy and look it up. You could do the same, but instead fought tooth and nail for your incorrect belief. Refusing to use resources, or just don't know enough to even TRY?

"Flounder: The verb “flounder,” as you know, means to stumble or thrash about like a fish out of water"

You are no better than Carlos Mencia. He uses other peoples work as his own. Just like you do. You are supposed to take that information and form your own opinions Rob. Even build on it. Not repeat back what someone else said. You're a fucking useless clown.

You think you are supposed take facts and then mold them to match your opinions? Sorry kid, it doesn't work that way.

You can take the equation 2+2=5 and form an opinion that 2+2=5 all you want, but your opinion will NEVER be correct.
You can take your biology degree and form the opinion all day long that bones do not have nerves in them, but your opinion will NEVER be correct.
You can fail an economics course and form the opinion that supply and demand do not affect product pricing, but your opinion will NEVER be correct.

You think opinions shape fact. It's the opposite: Facts should shape opinions.
Maybe that's where you keep stumbling and why you get so much wrong here.

Not what I said. Again, your skills are lacking. If you don't understand what someone says then don't act like you know what's going on. Move on... don't you have a bar to visit.

No sir. No alcoholism here.
And my skills outclass yours by a long shot. But TBH, it hasn't been all that hard to prove you wrong over and over again.
You are a fish in a barrel.

Nerves, Bones and the Human Body.

Sadly Rob will argue because he is lonely and insecure. When people refer to nerves IN bones is a misnomer. I will clear it up in a few simple ways. Yes, nerves are IN bones. They are passing through... get this, passages and they are picking up and dropping off information along the way. They are not PART of the minerals that make up the bone or attached to it. Think of nerves as all the hot wires passing from the ECU in your car to various senors throughout the car relaying that information back to the ECU.

You are going to "clear this up" by finally admitting there are nerves in bones and that you were wrong?

I will admit to being stunned.

I have to ask: What finally made you look up the facts that show you were wrong, and what finally convinced you to admit to being wrong?
This is a huge growth step for you. Honestly.

This is a HUGE jump from:
Incorrect. I am not wrong. I provided ONE of the textbooks that was required reading for that class. Stop leaving out information just to talk shit. I earned a degree based on the information of the time. You have not provided current information that is not of theory or studies. The book you have quoted is old and does not reflect current medical knowledge. You also did not show the nerve pictures as proof from that Gray's Anatomy book either. So 🤪
And no offense... or be offended, I don't care but you are two guys on an internet forum. I am sure your knowledge is far superior to those who practice and teach in this field. When I say theoretical it is because it is still being studied which means nobody has all the answers, nothing is definitive which means it has no choice but to be theoretical. That does not mean they have no knowledge but it for sure does not make me wrong.

I will make it simple for the laymen. A car driving through the tunnel is not in or on the mountain just as the nerve passing through the bone is not in or on the bone. It is passing through a tunnel. When these nerves are disturbed they receive and send signals and the body responds. Be it for the body to repair the area around that nerve (The Bone) or to cause pain and so on. I don't think I can explain it down more than that.
