or watch a video that explains it.
And... missing the other points that were highlighted that they can and do count ballots anyway as well as "fixing" ballots so they can count them. The illegal actions were pointed out. Think a quarter of a million votes can make a difference? So, they send out blank ballots without making people prove their identity, but the identity must be proved before the ballot is counted?
That sounds like Best Buy hanging unloaded gift cards at the checkout and then making you load it before you can use it to buy something.
"the county can still Issue the ballot, but the ballot doesn't count unless the voter provides a valid form of ID -either a PennDOT ID or the last four of SSN that can be verified or one of the other forms of identification provided for in the statute."
Unless I am reading that text wrong?
They absolutely can. There should be transparency on how they are "fixing" the failure to verify, and of how many letters get sent out when there is an ID error.And... missing the other points that were highlighted that they can and do count ballots anyway as well as "fixing" ballots so they can count them. And yet a law got created due to a Republican getting busted for tampering.
This is what I am waiting to see. The ballots were sent out, let's see what happens after voting. They absolutely can. There should be transparency on how they are "fixing" the failure to verify, and of how many letters get sent out when there is an ID error.
The letter tried to make it seem that it's 240,000 votes that get "fixed", but they are conflating that with the number of ballots that go out without proof of identity. Maybe in order to make it a much bigger issue than it really is?
So the real questions are:
How many ballots have been processed without proper ID?
What candidates received votes from those ballots?
What is the process for "fixing" when the voter doesn't respond?
Do you mean who wins, or what details they reveal on the process? This is what I am waiting to see. The ballots were sent out, let's see what happens after voting.
The details. It's a swing state so it could go either way. Either side could benefit.Do you mean who wins, or what details they reveal on the process?
But the number mailed out is irrelevant to the big picture. It's the ones that came back with bad ID that were then fixed that matter. As fun as it is to read the same things over and over we are talking about the 250,000+ ballots mailed out in PA.
Also, scientific facts allow us to "predict the future". Just sayin.
