What was he then? Didn't he protect that whole city that night by killing two people? Maybe the skateboard guy was going to hold up a store with his skateboard. You never know. He is touted as a hero and you know it. All parents of teenage boys should be equipping their sons with AR - 15's right now. They are the new protectors of our cities. The court just gave them permission to do it. Am I wrong?

Why was he stupid? He is a hero to millions. He didn't do anything wrong that night. If he did how was he punished? Please tell me that. He killed people, went home, and now he never has to work a day in his life. He can even take care of his Mom and sister. The courts just told me that it is perfectly ok for 17 year old boys to walk the streets with an AR - 15 and protect their city. Do you not see how this case is fukked up? What a horrible message to send to parents. I would never give my child a gun of any type.

My kids are 29 and 27. It's up to them if they want to carry a weapon or not. Apparently our police aren't capable of protecting our cities anymore and need the help of our little kids. The courts agree. Did the courts ever say that what Rittenhouse did was wrong and should never happen again? I might have missed that part.

Always claim self defense. After you flee the scene and go home of course. Even fleeing the scene of a shooting is ok in the courts mind.
