Like many Trump statements, I'd call that hyperbole vs lying or misleading. We can't take everything everybody says 100% literally 100% of the time. Reasonable people need to allow for some latitude.

I do think this is a good example of what little he did to combat disinformation. He could have explained the math/science behind slowing the infection rate and how that could save thousands of lives. OTOH, I tend to believe that many of the anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers didn't really care if additional people died from covid.

Maybe you failed math or went somewhere where geometric and exponential growth wasn't taught. Anybody who passed the HS math classes I was in would have understood that small change the rate of infection makes a huge difference generations down the road. Maybe that's why Fauci, CDC, CNN didn't bring it up; it’s beyond the average American's comprehension???

Clearly big pharma aren't angles. That doesn't make them the devil and it doesn't mean mRNA is modifying my DNA or that I'm magnetic or that I'll explode if I get too close to a 5g tower or whatever other conspiracies "you guys" have cooked up.
