And despite rumors about how this about charging Trump to prevent him from running for POTUS, I suspect you're correct. Much like Hilary Clinton their main goal is to plug any potential leak and stay the fvck out of politics as much as possible. That won't stop the conspiracy theorist from spinning their yarns about the deep state, claiming that the Dems/Clintons/Bidens are held to a different standard, etc. If only they could step back and take an honest look at themselves for a minute and see how foolish they look...

Trump shouldn't have had to do anything. The evidence was right there and they chose not to prosecute it. The investigation concluded that Clinton broke the law but hey .... they had her back through Benghazi, might as well have her back with emailgate too
