Ahhhh, so now it’s OK that Trump felt his own VP should be murdered. What other crimes would be OK with him, and what other crimes has he actually done, aside from the ones we know about?

I’ll bet you WOULD give him a pass for murdering someone on 5th Ave in broad daylight, even if you saw video evidence.
Again that's hyperbole...

No, it’s speculation. We know that Trump accepted the idea of Pence being hanged.
We know that Trump has committed a crime.

The rest is speculation that’s supported logically by the facts we know. Someone who is OK with one crime and has committed crime is more likely to find other crimes acceptable.

We don't know that Trump wanted pence getting hung...it very well could be he chose a poor way to voice his displeasure with pence...

Stop being such an apologist for everything he says or does.

To even suggest that he just “chose a poor way to voice his displeasure” is another bad attempt at a backpedal.
They get weaker every time.

What next? The protesters at the FBI office were actually there to offer backup in case REAL protesters arrived?

I'm not being an apologist...I'm just not so fanatical to believe we know 100% that he wanted pence dead...logically its more likely he was pissed off at pence and said something stupid (thats kind of Trump's m.o.)...you on the other hand need that to be truth so you use that to "win" arguments on a forum...

Exactly!!! I can't even count the number of people I've "wished death and violence upon," without really meaning it. Heck I've "wished" death and violence on my own kids and I'd never hurt them, if anything they're the ones getting away with murder... ;)

So everything that went on that day, everything he said, everything he did, it was all just misinterpreted by his followers and he was only saying “something stupid” over and over again.

It’s plausible, but going down that path would beg the question: how much can you trust a leader who seems entirely incapable of not doing stupid things?
If he just does stupid things, why the vehement defense that he never could have taken top secret documents from the WH? Would that be a “stupid thing”?

That’s the tricky part about defending someone: a lot of times the chosen defense creates more problems and more questions.

You don't have to trust him to not claim he literally wanted pence dead ffs

Nothing like announcing to the world you are a failure. 🤦🏼‍♂️

It wasn't just that day. He started in with the "stolen election" rhetoric April/2019 and just kept ramping it up and up and up and then Jan 6th happened. (Probably) doesn't rise to the level of criminal activity, but very irresponsible.

As for the doing stupid things defense, that's not some concocted defense. Trump was saying and the doubling down on stupid comments since prior to the election. His stupidity will live on forever in the twitterverse.
