I wouldn't take a 5 year old child to a topless beach in Cancun either.

Yes it was certainly worse than a bikini at a beach. 1) They don't wear pasties at the beach. 2) Their bottoms aren't stuffed with dollar bills at the beach. 3) Presumably attendees were stuffing those dollar bills in that thong, perhaps even the ~5 year old participant.

That child is so young that they won't remember this. I don't see anything criminal happening. Immoral IMO yes, criminal no. I don't know how this could be prevented from happening.

I remember things from when I was 5. My kids remember pre-school and Kindergarten. I can think of all sorts of ways this could have been prevented. Staff could have said no kids. Parents could have left. Dancer could pased on dancing with kid. Instead the State of Florida will be stepping in to prevent it from happening in the future.

I have yet to suggest or imply criminal charges should be brought against the parents in question. I've reiterated that point several times, so I'm somewhat baffled as to why you keep asking how should these parents be punished.

DeSantis isn't telling somebody how to raise their kids, he is telling a business what is and isn't acceptable under Florida state law. I'm sure you're not the only one who doesn't tell people how to raise their kids unless a crime has been committed, in which case they contact that authorities, so it's not "just you." In fact it's vast majority of people.
