The cost per mile is lower now...the more ev on the road, the higher the demand for electricity...higher demand leads to higher prices...so the cost per mile goes up...
True, but if electricity even doubles in price, that puts the average EV mile at $.010, which is still less than gas, and CAN still be better for pollution, depending how it is produced.

In the past ten years, electricity has jumped from an average of $.128 per KWh up to a staggering $.147 per KWh.
Two cents.

Again, it boils down to numbers and not feelings for me.
“Based on where EVs have been sold to date, the average EV driving in the US produces global warming pollution equal to a gasoline vehicle that gets 93 miles per gallon (mpg) fuel economy.”

The conviction indicates words can indeed kill. In the context of the conversation (Trump being to blame for the insurrection), we were not talking about the strictest definition.
I’m confident that no one in the world thought Trump shot that woman in the Capitol, or kicked in doors, etc. I certainly hope you didn’t think so.

If you were simply trying to say that his words didn’t stop that woman’s heart or cause damage, or put people in jail, then sure, you are right. We can also say that no mass shooter ever killed anyone, and neither did their gun. It was the heart stoppage that was the cause of death, aided by the bullet.
But that’d just be one of those argument tactics that people use to redirect from the main argument when they have nothing else.

Was that your goal?
My statement was 100% words do not kill...I never deviated from that point...it was a statement that you spent days trying to refute...I had no goal but you had a need to be right and argue it 🤣🤣🤣

And no comparing words to a gun is ridiculous...a person can end a life with a weapon capable deadly force...a gun is a weapon...making inference that words are weapons in that category is hyperbole...

It will more then double...the sheer amount of money need to upgrade the grid will skyrocket prices before the demand increases would start taking effect...and then you subtract all fossil fuel means of power generation in favor of more expensive means...the cost per mile would be at least in the same range...

Steven Hawking wouldn’t mock 85 y.o. Biden for not unclipping his bike shoe fast enough and stumbling, or Tony Hawk for wiping out on a skateboard, or a carpenter for not building a wall perfectly square.
Bucko has a leaky azz, but posts almost daily about the many-times-disproved “incontinence incident” with Biden and the Pope.

Would you feel better if I told him to go suuck some teenage diick while me and my buddies run a train on his mother and sister?

Joe Biden is probably sitting somewhere eating ice cream in his dookie drawers.

You just want him to be as bad off as you are, so you can feel better about yourself.

But he’s riding bikes and running a country at 85, while you have a leaky azz and sit home pretending to be a sub box design genius 😂

Let's be honest that bike ride was nothing but a photo op that backfired

They’ve been “upgrading the grid” since it existed, we don’t even use the power we are able to produce, and we don’t live in a static world.

Don’t forget consumption is constantly dropping due to increased efficiencies. In my kitchen alone, LED lighting reduced my consumption from 1.3 KWh to about .3.
One KWh not being used. My new refrigerator uses about .450 KWh versus 1.7 for my old one.
If I got an EV, I would be charging it for “free” because I took advantage of just two efficiencies elsewhere in my home.
AND, there would be no increased draw on the grid.

It’s all about numbers and thinking about the big picture, instead of just zeroing in on the one factoid you think supports your entire argument.

I don't see any logical sequence or relation between your statements, so I'll address each separately.
You don't know what Steven Hawking would or wouldn't do.

I don't think Buck would criticize Tony Hawk for falling off a skateboard. You are suggesting that Biden bicycling is similar to Tony Hawk skateboarding. Do you think Biden is mentally fit to be president?

Carpenters do not build walls. "Perfectly square" requires a reference.

I don't know if Buck's *** leaks. You're probably more credentialed in men's ***** than you are at law, so I'll take your word for it.

Our grid isn't being upgraded like you think...you might see a new power lpole outside your house but you if think the grid is anywhere capable of handling widespread ev adoption...you really need to read on it...your power savings aren't the basis for consumption rate as ev numbers increase...

39 miles per day is the average people drive.
A Tesla model S can do about 390 miles per charge. That’s 7-8 hours of driving.
The lowest “mpg” Tesla does 263 on a charge, so 5-7 hours of driving.
Many people eat a meal while on the road. 45 minutes for a meal is nothing after 7 hours of driving, IF you want to drive another 7 hours.

No matter how you try to twist it, if the cost per mile is lower for electric than gas, it remains lower unless you start changing the vehicles being compared.

Think of the old joke “We’re losing money on each sale, but we’ll make it up in volume”. Numbers don’t change unless other factors in the calculation change.

BTW- I am not advocating for either gas or electric. It’s simply a numbers game, and I let the numbers advocate for most things.
That's fine for daily driving. I was specific with the vacation, truck and trailer. Not everyone will drive in a Tesla and many will use a truck and trailer for vacationing. You can't just lump all EV's into the same bubble and say they are all great. It's just misleading at that point.

I’ll reduce it down to a simpler picture for you: Don’t mock someone for doing what you CAN’T do.

Buck has a leaky azz. He accuses Biden of the same, but the “incident” he references never happened. AND he keeps repeating the claim.

Stay in your lane and know your place is the point.

‘Just a few hours after the Lavrov interview was reported came the announcement by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that the US will give Ukraine four more HIMARS, bringing the total to 16. Austin bragged that HIMARS have already “made a difference on the battlefield.”

But which battlefield? Lavrov and Russian President Putin can have no illusions that the wider, strategic “battlefield” includes Russia. Indeed, this is the same benighted Lloyd Austin who let that cat out of the bag three months ago:

“One of the US’s goals in Ukraine is to see a weakened Russia. … The US is ready to move heaven and earth to help Ukraine win the war against Russia.”’

It’s totally nothing like a world war 🤡
