Words were not the cause of death...

Neither is a plane crash. Neitger is falling from a tall building, neither is getting hit by a truck. Get it yet? It's the indirect cause of death. It's cause and effect. The cause was his words and the effect was eventually death. Why didn't you answer the question. Would he have killed himself without her telling him to get back into the truck?

Bucko putting up a clown face emoji and quoting Nazi conspiracy theory against facts is neither “clowning” nor “owning” me.

The grammar and typo thing is not a “gotcha’ “; it is simply pointing out that people in a glass house shouldn’t throw stones.
Don’t make errors with the same words you are using to call people “stupid”.
It’s common sense. The biggest problem with common sense is that it isn’t.

you obviously understood what was typed . . . even the idiot understood what was typed

next time you make a typo ill point it out and you can come sit in the stupid box with me ok?

What good are they doing?
Making big business reduce the pollution they create seems to be good.
Telling big business it is bad to put poison in our food is a good thing.
Public safety such as firefighters and police are pretty good.
Military seems to do good for out country.

This is just common sense and the current administration did not invent common sense... far from it in fact.

I don't see how.

You are of the opinion that since the gov't does SOME things poorly, they are of no use at all.

I would not take that stance. No, I do not think that.

Who said it is cheaper per mile to charge a car? Where is the power coming from to charge the car? Fossil fuels.

The average car got just under 26 miles to the gallon in 2021, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). GasBuddy estimated the national average price for gas on March 11 at $4.34 per gallon. That means it costs about 17 cents to drive one mile in an average gas-powered vehicle.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) estimates the average electric vehicle has a 66-kilowatt-hour battery and can go about 200 miles per full charge. The agency conducted a study of electric vehicle owners’ charging habits that found owners pay an average of 15 cents per kilowatt-hour to charge the battery. That means it costs roughly 5 cents to drive one mile in an electric vehicle.
Not always from fossil fuels. Solar provides about 40% of power now. Regardless, fossil fuel CAN be used with different efficiencies to accomplish the same task. A model T versus a Toyota Camry.

Ahhh and there is one of the problems with the current administration and their gas prices. They can, as you just did, use the higher gas prices to make it look more expensive to a greater extent to drive a gas powered car. 200mi is GENEROUS to say the least. My current car has no problem hitting 32mpg and go well over 350 miles on a tank. Your electric is going to have to charge up again and that $.05 per mile is now going to be higher. It is not going to be that much less in the grand picture than my gas sipping economy car.

Michigan is a crap state anyway. Less selfish? How about we just be smarter than our forbears? Should we give them the fish or teach them to fish?

"Michigan is a crap state anyway", so let's just poison the shit out of it? You basically LIVE the idea of being self-centered and a hypocrite.
Figuring out how to do things more efficiently and with less destruction of the environment IS being smarter than our forebears. Teach them to fish does nothing if we kill all the fish.

Michigan is crap. I am a Buckeye and went to OSU. Fuuuuuck Michigan. ;)

I don't give two shits about abortion. My only feeling is if it's her body her choice then it needs to be her money 100% that pays for it.

We had this argument already. You don't "give two shits about it", except for the two shits you give about it. Either you have an opinion or you don't. You do. And your opinion is that Medicaid pays for abortions, when I proved to you that it doesn't. But that's a different argument.
I was only referencing the abortion thing to show how people apply beliefs selectively in order to maintain their narrative.

I said taxpayers should not have to pay for HER CHOICE. I don't care either way if she keeps the demon spawn or not.

No matter what somebody says to you...while it may influence you one way or another...your response to it is your decision...ultimately everybody is responsible for their own actions...not the words of others...

BOBBY... spellcheck.

You will never find one in a post in which I call someone "stupid", "idiot", "moron", etc.
Read my sig line.

So, the proof that I provided is incorrect? The court case and conviction never happened?
Fake news, or just a fabrication on my part?

You never showed a single instance were a word was the cause of death...you tried though...I never claimed you couldn't be convicted over words...

This is just common sense and the current administration did not invent common sense... far from it in fact.
You're spinning off on a tangent. You asked what good the gov't does, then when given an answer that is true, you post this. Common sense or not, is creating laws to reduce pollution "doing good"?

I would not take that stance. No, I do not think that.
That is the stance that your words convey. They paint the picture of you adopting a fully defeatist attitude:"Big picture... none of us will be in the painting. None of these "changes" will benefit any of us. People are still laboring under the delusion that government has our best interest in mind. This government is packed full of corrupt politicians and every one of them have a goal."

Ahhh and there is one of the problems with the current administration and their gas prices. And..we're back to you thinking the administration sets gas prices. Regardless, let's assume gas is $2.00 per gallon. That would put cost per mile at an average of $.085. That is still a lot more than $.05 no matter how you look at it.
For the average American who drives 39 miles per day, 200 miles on a charge is just fine. It's a logical fallacy (or just bad math) to think that having to charge up increases the cost per mile. If you had a smaller tank, do you think your cost per mile would be higher? I sure hope not.

Michigan is crap. I am a Buckeye and went to OSU. Fuuuuuck Michigan. ;)
I know you're being humorous, but one could say this about plenty of states, especially southern ones.

I said taxpayers should not have to pay for HER CHOICE. I don't care either way if she keeps the demon spawn or not.
Again, you are worried about a non-issue. Taxpayers don't pay for abortion any more than they pay for vasectomies, Viagra, broken legs, heart attacks. If that is the only shit you give about abortion, then you should really just say you have no opinion at all, because your opinion is centered around nothing.

You never showed a single instance were a word was the cause of death...you tried though...I never claimed you couldn't be convicted over words...
The conviction happened because the words are considered to have caused a death.
I'm sure the conviction was wholly incorrect. You should probably contact the judge and all attorneys involved, and inform them of their mistake.
They will probably bow to your expertise on the matter and reverse the decision right away.

Another example: "Hutu journalists in Rwanda who engaged in hate radio. They were found guilty of actual genocide—not just of aiding and abetting those who wielded the machetes."

Fake news? My own fabricated story?

The reality is this administration is responsible for their actions and those actions include those that helped gas prices in this country increase under Biden.

Reality. These proposed changes won't do any of us any good. This is not a debate, it's fact. How long will this transition to green energy take for instance? Cool, our kids or maybe their kids might benefit from it but we should suffer in the mean time? No. That's why I said why aren't we trying to make cleaner that which we already have? Did everyone just give up?

So what if I want to take my family on a trip in my all electric Ford Lightning Truck and I am going to tow my travel trailer behind it. My trip is 850mi one way. Do you think it will still be economically viable to drive my family in this truck as I tow this 6,000lb trailer? Am I going to save time? How often will I have to charge the truck on the way?
