English mother fucker, do you speak it? - Pulp Fiction.

"an" is correct. Go back to school boy.
“An” would be correct if you said “an analysis”. Instead, you made the phrase “you’re a moron analysis”, which changes “an” to “a”. You never use “an” followed by “you’re”.
That’d be like saying “you’re an dummy” or “you’re a idiot” or “I gave him an ‘you’re a dope’ trophy.”

English. Learn it before you try to “school” anyone else with it.

I suggest you go speak to an english teacher before you continue your fruitless attempt at correcting me. "An" is correct.

No need to. Here’s the rule:
A vs. an
The rule is: Use an before a word beginning with a vowel sound (not letter). It doesn’t matter how the word is spelled. It just matters how it is pronounced. Use a before a word with a consonant sound as well as y and w sounds.
“You’re” starts with a y sound AND a y letter. You do not use “an” before “you’re”.
.

Do you put effort into being wrong, or is it just an inbred skill?

I know the rule and there is more to it Mr. Google. Nice try though.

I really thought he was gonna come back with a rebuttal.

I will clear it up. You should not use two contractions is the same sentence. If you do, the second contraction should be pronounced as if it were not a contraction. In this case "you're" would be spoken or read as "you are" this allows for the word "an" to be used. This is but one exception to "the rule".

Honestly though does it matter if proper grammar is used on a forum...as long as your point can understood, I don't believe it does...besides isn't correcting people a sign of privilege showing 🤣

Exactly my point... but these guys just want to argue. More so now that Biden has lost so much support from his own party and from most of his "voters". Even the ones who voted from the grave. I could care less if someone spells correctly, or uses comas, or punctuation as long as I get what they are trying to say. I mean, that's the point right? If you get what they are saying, you can respond. I don't know... these guys make my sac itch.

“You” starts with the letter y and a y sound. A word starting with y should not follow “an”.
When would you EVER say “I bought an yellow car”?

Show me where your “exception to the rule” is described in any textbook or similar source.

And where did you come up with that bullshit about not using two contractions in one sentence? You’re wrong there too.
You really should take some online courses to at least bring your intellect up to a high school level.
It’s embarrassing.

You starts with Y and the sound is a vowel... the letter U actually... huh, go figure.

If you’re going to put a post up where you accuse someone of being stupid, it makes a BIG difference whether you use proper grammar and spelling.
If you can’t even spell simple words or use simple grammar properly, you are obviously in no position to judge someone else as “stupid”.

Nice try. The pronunciation of the letter u starts with the “y” sound.
Some other words that start with the “y” sound: yellow, yam, yak, yes, young, youth. Notice the similarities to “you”?

Still waiting for proof of your “exception to the rule” and that you can’t use two contractions in a sentence.

Empty handed?
