Listen Rob... the RIOTS were the insurrection the moment they attacked government buildings. Furthermore, there was no "coup" on Jan. 6th as one of the prerequisites for such an act is to actually have control over the armed forces. Not to mention, nothing was overthrown.

For your edification: "Attempt- make an effort to achieve or complete (something, typically a difficult task or action)."
I used the word attempt because they failed to achieve the goal of the overthrow. Had they achieved it and prevented Biden from becoming POTUS, they would in effect have control of the gov't, including armed forces, police, and other military elements. You may not know this, but the POTUS in the CINC of all military forces in the US, including MPs.

Here is the problem... You can say "attempt" all you want. The only way YOU or any of these accusers would know if it was a coup would be if they were a part of it and were in on the planning. Do you really think this small group of people had the power to overthrow the United States Government... all by themselves?
