Please help aero port width and length

Can any one give me basic information on aero ports and tuning anything will help. 3.5 cubes sealed how can i get it low to maybe 30hz

We need more information. What sub are you running, how much power, and port size.

I'm going to use a couple jl w3 12 but the box will be sealed im trying to figure out what length and width of the port can get me lower the amp will be kicker zx 1000.1

Seaed and ported mean 2 different things.

For 2 w3 12's you would aim for around 2.5- 3 cubic feet sealed and 3.5-4 cubic feet ported. It's not as simple as just putting a port in a sealed enclosure.

If your current enclosure is 3.5 cubic feet sealed, you could try putting an aero port in, but you will be taking up a good bit of space with a 6" aero port and would probably end up with too little volume overall.

Yes, when you are building a ported enclosure you aim for a certain airspace for the speaker(s), and then add the displacements from the driver, bracing, port volume, etc to come to a larger enclosure.

A 3 cubic foot ported enclosure would be larger than 3 cubic feet, closer to 4 cubic feet in reality based on outside dimensions.
