Thoughts on the new Kicker Solo X?

I've always liked the Solo X's, personally. I really hope I get to design for the new ones in the future. I would personally love to play around with and test a new Solo X. Kicker knows what it's doing, but that doesn't mean they are making a quality product that matches their prices. Hopefully their new Solo X is their flagship woofer, where they didn't design these subs like the rest of their subs 👀

Can somebody post up full t/s of the new Solo X's? I'd love to analyze any of them. Those t/s will tell me a lot. I've designed quite a few boxes for the older Solo X's. Those older Solo X motors used to be highly valued for round-cone woofer rebuilds, iirc, back in the day. The motors on those had some power to them. I know people are biased, but there are some diamond-quality woofers from companies that mostly produce over-priced coal, if you know what I mean, lol.

Isn't the new solo x supposed to have a drop in recone? No gluing needed or something like that?
Also, I think they're also supposed to come out with an L7R or some new L7 that is supposed to handle more power than the new solo x. This is just what I've heard second hand. I haven't really been paying loads of attention to what kicker has been doing

x2 on the drop in recone. I watched Kicker’s presentation video for the new ones a while ago, at least months ago. I’m fairly certain the new solo x’s are designed to just unbolt the soft parts for a quick recone. That’s gotta be enticing to some competitors.

I was thinking the same thing, but how many people are competing with kicker subs lol. I guess this is their attempt into getting back into comp setups and not just lifted trucks blasting country music.

Looks like you could raise the back seat maybe 2 to 2-1/2" use longer seat bolts and washers and frame/mold in the under carriage cavity of that...
