Even if they do appeal, I don’t see how they’ll come up with a different verdict. All they have to prove was that he acted in self defense which the videos and testimony show. Most “experts” said he’d be found not guilty before the trial even started and it seemed only CNN and the likes wanted a different result.

That judge is known in Wisconsin as being a moron. But in Wisconsin a Judge can blatantly show his political side whenever and however they want to with nothing done. Always said a Judge should NOT be involved or run as a GOP or Democrat same with Sheriffs who run for office. They should be ruling and enforcing the law as it says not as their views dictate. As I said before the Prosecutors were horrible the Judge was horrible and the Defense did what they were paid to do. Get their client a innocent verdict. But the DA's office is going to appeal the verdict you can pretty much count on it. Works both ways if Rittenhouse had been found guilty of any of the charges his Lawyers would appeal as well, both sides have that right under the constitution. One beauty of our legal system.

He is known as a GOP Judge here and has been for a long time. He was first appointed by a dem in the '70s but always runs unopposed for some odd reason. As far as the gun views idk what his views are. I just know that in this state he is not known for being a quality judge even though he is one of the longest sitting judges. Put it this way some lawyers love the guy some think he is a joke. This isn't his first rodeo into a high profile case. He ran that show like a circus from day one. Just the one comment about Asian food was enough to piss off a whole community.

Judges in this state run commercials as being Pro GOP Pro Christian Conservative all the time. Especially the ones on the Supreme Court here. They run on those views instead of running on how they would rule and enforce the law. Democrat judges run the same way as Liberal Judges. Neither is right and should not be allowed. Same with Sheriffs here. One of which who ran in a county close to me was known to spout Q views on his personal facebook page along with some other views that a running sheriff should not be doing. I know because this guy was friends with my dads friend. Seen it all on his facebook personally. When we asked said friend about it the person in question immediately put everything on private and hid all his views and likes.
