Seems like some people watched a completely different trial. There is literally video of Rittenhouse being chased down. No one got shot in the fvcking back. He was knocked down or trying to run away through all the videos. No video shows any of the victims retreating from Rittenhouse. The prosecutors said dumb shit like “he should’ve taken a beating”,…. literally said that after the jury already watched all the video. He was going to get a serious beat down at least, possibly worse, and everyone knows it.. I wish there was a charge they could get him on, but there isn’t. It should probably be illegal to bring rifles to large events and brandish them around like that, but it isn’t.

There is no point in the videos where it shows that as the scenario. All of it is on video. That’s a problem for any other evidence shown. Video doesn’t usually lie.

What did they offer in the trial that superseded everything he did wrong? I didn’t watch it, so I assume it was major stuff.

Gaige testified that Kyle didn't shoot him until he pointed a gun at Kyle. Kyle was hit in the head with a skateboard before he shot Huber. Rosenbaum(sp?) threatened to kill Kyle, chased Kyle, and had his hand on the barrel of Kyle's rifle when he was shot. Prosecution was trying to win at all costs rather than searching for the truth.

The defense did a good job of showing how the shot to the back happened as rosenbaum lunged at Rittenhouse and got turned to the side as rosenbaum was grabbing for his gun. The video was pretty graphic.

There was a shot to the back. The video shows it happening, but you’re misrepresenting how it happened, framing it as if rosenbaum was running away, which isn’t true at all.

I would go the other way, honestly. If the police and government aren't maintaining the peace, local people and businesses shouldn't bear the expense of unruly riots. If people were allowed to defend their property by any means necessary, riots wouldn't happen. I support "stand your ground" laws, because they give the benefit of the doubt to those being attacked. Just because Kyle WON the fight against three assailants doesn't mean he started it or was in the wrong.
