I have the same question. They say vaccines are safe and effective, but the definition of a vaccine keeps changing. Comparing new vaccines to old ones is not a fair comparison, because it's not the same type of technology or function.

This "science juice" fits the definition of vaccine that has existed LONG before "this summer".

All three COVID vaccines are designed to stimulate the immune system to fight COVID.

You are approaching this as if they have all the answers and solutions beforehand and are just trying to make money, as opposed to refining things on-the-fly instead of working on in-lab solutions for 5 years while people are dying. The science is REACTIONARY because it HAS to be. An analogy might be the 9/11 incident. Many people asked why they didn't just shoot down the planes. Well, we don;t have armed fighter jets crisscrossing the country 24/7. It has to do with you thinking that a medicine solves everything in perpetuity with one dose or one round of doses. You took oxy for pain once, so you should never experience pain again, correct? Incorrect. It's not how the body works. Vaccines are not permanent unless your body decides they are. The vaccine is not fighting the virus like an antibiotic does, it's training your BODY to fight the virus.

Yes. You can still get polio after being vaccinated. This is why they tell us to get a booster shot if we go somehwere where me be exposed to polio. Oversimiplified, but your body is "out of training" and may not fight it as well as when you were younger. I am interested in the thin evidence when the infection rates started decreasing rapidly after the vaccines came into play. Each time. I personally don't believe in cosmic coincidences like that. Much like I don;t believe it's a coincidence that car accident deaths declined substantially after seatbelts were introduced and again when they became mandatory. Correlation and causation can be confirmed statistically.
