Planes, trains, and automobiles

Toyota made a beautiful truck... sad they scrapped the V8 in favor of the turbo 6. also skeptical on the hybrid as that power / tq setting is likely dead if you're towing anything as the batteries will be gone in minutes.

I'm normally never a brand new redesign fan but I like it alot. I knew they would get rid of the v8. 14mpg highway is just pathetic in the Tundra V8 and they had to do something. Hoping this 3.5 will get 20-22 highway. One thing I am not happy about is the Hybrid uses a NiMH battery. :(

The grille is a bit ridiculous. The hips on the bed and wheel wells do make me think GM.
Even the headlights and the way the windows are shaped are very Chevy looking I just really hate the grill. It's to much. It's the focal point of the truck and it shouldn't be because the rest of the truck I actually like. New ford's are the same way. Big tacky grill and front end that actually takes away from the look of the truck.

I don't like the 2021+ F150 fronts at all. The 2018-2020 was my favorite with the STX grille.

I mean, my jeep only gets 15 mpg, so 14 isn't so horrible lol

Mybrother just picked up a 2019 Used Tundra with the 4.7 .Looks nice , but gets Pisss gas milage.. Like 13 if he is lucky. My 98 3 door 5.7 l Chevys get 17 running @75mph.. My 2014 Chevrolet 2500HD 4 door long bed with a Tommy lift gets 13 with 6.o l LS

If I were on a budget saving criteria.. Id prob. pick up a Prius or a Leaf just for a gas saver.. unless I could locate another 92 Honda Civic Hatch with the 1.5l. I had one that got like 40mpg running @75 mph on highway use,and an Automatic. Car was pretty much bullet proof for any kind of repair. Change the oil, and rotate the tires pretty much.
