So, why don't we just abandon all forms of medicine and treatment if we can't trust anybody. There is always going to be a margin of error when thousands of medicines and treatments are being developed.

Total abandonment is not at all my position.

But I also don't think many of these are just random margins of error. Clearly they court history says some of these corporations have a culture of fraud.

That is a major part of the underlying turmoil of our country right now. Millions of people (idiots, if I may) who live life based on their feelings and opinions in total disregard of facts, evidence, science.
Jump on a Trump thread on any social media platform, and you will find people who still think Trump will be back in office. You will find people who think he really was the best POTUS ever. You'll find people who will vehemently deny that COVID is even real, or that masks have been proved efficacious in slowing the transmission of COVID. People who will swear that 24,000 votes got tampered with in a county that only had 17,000 votes recorded.

Millions of people who really have no clue about due diligence or critical thinking.
It's actually pretty f*****g scary when you really think about it.
