Fauci is such a tool. He defined what he and his colleagues call "Gain of Function" which is a pretty simple term. It quite literally means to add function to something.

While being questioned about funding the Wuhan lab and Gain of Function there, Fauci wants to say it wasn't being done to the samples that caused the COVID pandemic. Here is the fun part. A while back Fauci said they were not funding Gain of Function research at the Wuhan lab... when in fact, they were.

A Dr. at the lab credited the NIH for the grant and named the grant number. This report stated that they took Corona viruses that only appeared in animals and created a novel virus that was then able to infect human cells. Thereby adding the ability to infect human cells. "Gaining the Function".
