Remote Turn On Wire For Amp

I'm using the factory radio and I don't have a factory amp, so there's most likely not going to be a wire from the radio for that.

I heard that you can hook it up to the ignition switch to turn it on.

Any help please on how and what to wire the remote turn on wire to would be appreciated.

Yes, it will work. Downside is that it is easy to forget switching it off and returning to a discharged battery. If your cigarette lighter is keyed, you can use that. If not, you can tap into any fuse that is keyed. If you tap into a fuse, no need for an extra inline fuse.

Today I found the ignition power for the radio.

I tested it by cutting it and trying to power on radio, so it was it.

I also verified it by hooking it up to my amp, so when I turned the key, it powered on.
